Hello everyone!
Here at the rescue we usually take in the more special needs horses, and in doing so that can make finding homes for them more complicated. Space isn’t an issue but if you’d like to help out our feed bill by sponsoring a sanctuary horse or by even adopting one please look down below at how you can do so 💜⬇️
First up we have BB Stanley and Samburo, barn names Hot Rod and Bean! 🫘
They are closely bonded standardbred geldings who are twelve years old. Unfortunately they’ve already had such hard lives pulling carts that they are now only companion/pasture sound.
They are still gaining weight and more and more of their personalities are coming out. Due to their health they are often overlooked by many adopters by no fault of their own.
If you’d like to help the rescue in their care, or are interested in offering them a forever home just as they are please shoot us a message!
To sponsor each horse is only 1️⃣6️⃣5️⃣ to help cover grain costs, but any donation is welcome!
Second is T-Master Flash who is an 18 year old standardbred gelding. His barn name is Little Bear, and he’s the sweetest boy! He is broke to ride and drive and is putting the weight on well. He does however have mild arthritis in his hips so would only make a light riding horse or pasture pet.
If you’d like to offer him a home or help with his care please reach out to us! His sponsor fee is 1️⃣6️⃣5️⃣ to help cover grain costs, but again, any donations truly help!
Next up is Poppa’s Little Monster, barn name Rooster 🐓 This guy has probably seen it all in the years he’s had to work pulling carts, but despite that he’s still the gentleman and loves kids. He is blind in his right eye and filling out in his topline. He is broke to ride and drive and is sound in all other aspects. Would make a great addition to someone’s family 🐎 🧡
If you’d like to offer a home for him or help with his care please let us know! His sponsor fee is 1️⃣6️⃣5️⃣ to help cover the costs of his care but anything helps!
Last but not least is Ionosphere, barn name Izzy. She’s a 19 yr old standardbred mare who has gone blind from a combination of moon blindness and past trauma. She’s so sweet despite that, and deserves to have an easy retirement. She is broke to ride and drive and maybe with some new training she can be rode again, as she always goes where you point her.
If you’d like to offer a home for her or help with her care please let us know! Her sponsor fee is 1️⃣6️⃣5️⃣ to help cover the costs of her care but any donation to the rescue helps!
Any donation is tax deductible ☺️

We also know of several haulers that can help with transport if anyone is interested in adopting.
