If you've been following Kirsty over on the Willowvale Spanish Mustang page, you may already know that we're changing things up for Echo & Eagle as they both approach their 5th year.
We have decided to gradually introduce Star to the two Stallions as part of furthering Echos & Eagles daily training in different environments, with different companions.
This will offer them a broader range of stimulation, exposure & experiences for their future under saddle.
Stars training will also continue alongside the Stallions as we continue to explore & fine tune his training & reintegration here with us.
So please, stay tuned as we will continue to share updates as we progress along.
We are also very excited to share an update on Mystiques journey.
As she is now just over two months old & with winter fast approaching, we decided to open up the back 20 acres of Kirstys property for the mares to graze on.
Now that Sienna, Kihela, Lacey, Ebony & Mystique have all been integrated as a herd, we decided to make some changes to the track system we have installed on the property, as this will enable and encourage the mare herd to travel between their winter pasture, way up the back of the property & their source of water, down near the front of the property.
The herd dynamic & the extra movement, will be extremely valuable for them all, especially Mystique, who will no doubt continue to amaze us with who she is, as she develops further socially, mentally & physically, within this amazingly supportive mare herd.
