I lost my little friend, Alfie after a short six months of looking after him. He was found wondering the streets in December 2018 and taken to the local vets. He was microchipped but the person registered as his owner stated "he never had a dog". He was in a terrible state, his teeth were rotting out, was covered with mites and he could barely stand as his back was so hunched. It turned out his spine was fused together in the middle in a very abnormal way - likely due to having sit in a cage for a lot of times over his 11 years of life. This condition despite a lot of TLC and hydrotherapy caused him too much pain at the end and I had to say goodbye to him in June 2019.
He was such a little character, a true escape artist and in generally a very cheeky little monkey. I believe he is in a nice place now and waiting for me there. There is not a day I don't think of him still.
