Buba Vinifera Tornjak Kennel We are a small Slovene tornjak kennel, striving to better this beautiful, rare breed. Join us on our adventures! FCI 62/2021 and are treated as family members.

We are a small Slovene tornjak kennel striving to better this beautiful, rare breed. Our dogs live with us in our home and are not kept in crates. We opened our kennel in September 2021 and are hoping to have our first litter in 2023. Our goal is to better this breed and we swear by breeding only healthy, by-standard individuals. We believe tornjaks are a wonderful, smart breed that can be both an

amazing work dog and a great family dog. Our dogs are raised with love, socialized early and participate in dog shows regularly. Our current 2 females live with us in our house, behave well around strangers, cats, farm animals, etc. Our future puppies will be looking for homes where they will be respected, loved and their needs will be met. A contract will be signed that prevents any of our kennel's dogs from being tied on a chain or mistreated in any way.

This weekend our dogs attended Alpe Adria Winner shows.

The star of the show was Marmelada Buba Vinifera (Gord od Burzića x Palačinka Vala Liburna) who got:
- 3x BOB Minor Puppy

This weekend we attended Gradačac Autumn Dog Shows, but only on Saturday and Sunday. 2x CAC, CACIB and FCI2 specialty.

We participated with Potica Buba Vinifera in champion class and Marmelada Buba Vinifera in minor puppy class. Sadly they were the only tornjaks applied. 🫣

The show had some flaws and did not follow the schedule online nor announce the beginning of group judgings so we managed to miss two out of 4 group judgings. 🙃

Regardless of the organization, we had a nice time and Potica & Marmelada were a big attraction to the people at the show. They got a bunch of cuddles and treats and had a wonderful time. 🥰

Potica got:
- 4x CAC
- CACIB
- 4x BOB
- Autumn Winner
- BKS Club Winner
and is now a brand new grand champion of BiH 🏆

Marmelada got:
- 4x VP1
- 4x BOB Minor Puppy
- Autumn Winner
- BKS Winner
and is now minor puppy champion of BiH 🏆

This weekend we attended 2x CACIB Karlovac & Tornjak specialty show with our dogs.
Three of our dogs participated, as well as 3 more dogs from our breeding.

We had a wonderful time & met up with many friends we haven't seen in a while.

We attended two shows over the weekend with a bunch of Palačinka Vala Liburna's pups. We also met a lot of dear friends and had a wonderful weekend in great company. ❤

For our M litter (Gord od Burzića x Palačinka Vala Liburna), this was their first ever show and they did really well! ❤️

For Potica from our P litter (Foxtrot Fresco Tor Bohemia x Palačinka Vala Liburna), this is one of the first shows after a longer break. She also did very well and presented herself beautifully.

While Mak didn't really feel like running and Maslina and Marmelada decided mid-run that they should play instead, this was still a very valuable socialisation opportunity for them and they did amazing. 🥰

Tails carried high and proud, curious nature, courageous and self-assured pups. Everything we hoped for from this litter ❤

Potica & Marmelada Buba Vinifera attended CACIB Polhograjski Dolomiti dog show 2025 this Saturday.

Potica competed in champion class and got the following results:
FCI2 CAC Show
- CAC 🥇
- BOS 🏅
CACIB Polhograjski Dolomiti
- CACIB 🏅
- BOB 🏆

She was handled by Matic and myself. ☺️
With this she is one step closer to her GCH and only needs 2 more CACs.

Marmelada attended just to socialize. It was an eventful show with lots of company and varying weather. We started with a sunny day an ended up with hail, thunder and rain, literally soaked to the bone. 😆
Big thanks goes to Matejka, Matic, Pia and her team for helping me get my dogs and my stuff out of the thunderstorm.

Regardless, we had a great time and hung out with our tornjak and Swissy company, Igor, Anita, Matejka, Neca. 🥰

Potica Buba Vinifera attended 2x CACIB Gradisca d'Isonzo and competed in intermedia class and is currently 16 months old.

She got very nice descriptions from the judges. She competed against a veteran class male and got the following results:
- 2x CAC 🏅
- 2x CACIB 🏅
- BOS 🥇
- BOB🏆

With this she is one step closer to her CH Italy. ☺️

Our Punat Buba Vinifera, owned and loved by Sophie Liesse attended one of the biggest shows in France and competed against 8 other tornjaks at only 16 months old.

He did very well and got BEST OF BREED and a wonderful description from the judge! ❤ 🏆

The judge, M. Harsanyi was strict and gave several very goods as well, so we are very happy that he loved our Punat so much.

Big congratulations to the owner Sophie and thank you for taking such great care of him!

Potica Buba Vinifera attended ISTRA 4 Slovenian Summer Night Shows in intermedia class. As Pia says, in her "bikini" edition 😅

Nonetheless I really like seeing her in her summer coat as it shows her anatomy and movement nicely 🥰 I'm really happy with how this girl is developing and looking at 16 months old.
All the judges gave her wonderful descriptions ❤️

She is from our beloved Palačinka Vala Liburna & Foxtrot Fresco Tor Bohemia.

She competed against an open class female on all 4 shows and got the following results:
- 4x CAC 🏅
- 2x rCACIB 🏅
- 2x CACIB 🏅
- 2x BOB 🏆
- Istra Winner 🥇
- new CH Slovenia 🏵
