Microgreens are young seedlings of edible vegetables harvested less than 14days after germination which contain upto 40 times more nutrients than the mature plant and are approximately 1-3 inches.
They have an aromatic flavour, concentrated nutrient content and come in variety of colors and textures.
Not to get confused with sprouts, as sprouts are germinated in water whereas microgreens are grown in soil.
