The cabin where the tiles will go is in two parts, the larger part is in the front, this has been used for storing wood this year, it has never been possible to use the cabin as the roof collapsed less than two weeks after the cabin was delivered,
There was no contract with the carpenter, and he refused to mend it,
The people who were responsible for collecting the donations for the cabin, when my house burned down, just before Christmas, two years ago,
Didn't make a contract stating what he had to provide,
So, he didn't, and no one has ever been to look at it,,,,
Until a great friend Claire Dalton and her amazing husband Darren, got a couple of friends together and came and put it back together again,
As it should be,
Claire is also the force behind this appeal for money to make a ceramic floor in the cabin,
Claire has been really concerned that it's not possible to keep the wooden floor that I have at the moment clean and germ free, essential that I don't get any infection,
(I lost my leg, about a month ago,)
Also it will be so much easier to move around in my wheelchair on a tiled floor,
So,,,,, this is what the appeal is about,
We are almost there,,,, just a little more needed,
I can't begin to thank everyone who has donated and shared the appeal with me, and I hope to be able to meet you some day,,, Turkey is a wonderful place to have a holiday, you would all be so welcome,

Here is the old door that is in my pitbulls garden,
Her name is Paris, and she is very beautiful,
But also very strong!!!!
She gets frustrated sometimes when she can see the other dog's running around and playing,, but unfortunately she is so heavy that when she is playing, she doesn't realise that she is hurting the smaller ones,
So, she is on her own,
At the moment Suat is making her enclosure more secure and putting on a new door,
She is being castrated today, so Suat can do the work without worrying if she is escaping,

Thursdays post,. Message from Suzi

Hello, absolutely freezing here,
Even with the stove burning it does not feel warm,

But it's been brilliant sunshine, and Suat has been able to get on with some of the brick work,
It's slow going because he is working alone, so has to keep running up and down the ladder,

Of course he is also feeding all the animals and bringing me wood,

He is my lifeline,

Hello, my friend Clare, has asked me to explain why I need to have ceramics, (tiles,) on the floor in my cabin,
The main reason is because of the risk of infection to my leg, and the fact that the wood floors do breed germs,,,,
They are almost impossible to keep clean and dry specially at this time of the year,,,,
I am surrounded by a sea of mud,,,,
As I am so near to the lake, its a very damp area,
So, basically I need the tiles to be able to keep them clean, and to move easily in my wheelchair around the cabin,
I am not very good yet, I have got stuck in a couple of corners, it's worse than learning to drive,,
So, if you can spare any thing at all I will be so grateful, x

Here is Rudi. He is a Sivas Kangol, the national dog of Turkey. He was found as a
a tiny puppy - some one had left him in the night.
