DTs Team Giveaway
Contest Ends February 10th 2025.
The Sand Creek Varsity Equestrian Team is a phenomenal collection of talented riders, supportive parents and dedicated coaches. They have become the most successful athletic program in the high school as they are coming off their third straight state championship appearance where they have placed in the top 5 in the state all three years. In addition, they have had multiple individuals earn first place in the state in their events.
The team has a great combination of both pleasure and speed riders and all of them demonstrate incredible enthusiasm cheering on their fellow riders. That is definitely a testament of the wonderful upbringing they have had from their supportive families. This group of athletes are most definitely student-athletes as the majority of them have been recognized by the school with the Scholar-Athlete Award.
One of the things the team is most proud of is the string of District Sportsmanship Awards they have received because those are voted on by all of the competing teams. It means a lot that despite their success, they have continued to remain humble and positive with all of their interactions with their competition.
With only one graduating senior this year, the team is optimistic and excited to get back into the arena and compete again. With another year of experience, this group is looking to improve on the success they have already achieved.
