Sarah Rassa moved back to Texas with her husband in 2014. Sarah is a Licensed Paralegal, a Certified Fi****ms Instructor; has a Liberal Arts degree from the University of Southern Maine and a degree in Animal Science

from the University of New Hampshire where her focus of study was Animal Behavior and Training. Over the past 20 years Sarah has held positions in the veterinary field as a Veterinary Technician, Disaster Relief Assistance/Rescue Volunteer, Veterinary Practice Manager and Dog Trainer.

My dog training advice for the day …. Always make sure YOU (the pet parent) remain the “Leader of the Pack” 😉🐶👍. Wise advise from someone from over 20 years ago when I began my dog training journey…”never let you dogs head be above your own”. (My husband decided to take some photos of me very early in the morning while I was in our pasture with 5 of my 7 K9’s).

Check out this unintended totally spooky picture of my Working K9 (in training)! His nick-name is Devil-Dog just by his looks in general, but wow, he sure earned that name last night!! 😆. You can see part of his ear is highlighted and the bright light looks like it’s coming from his eyes! He was walking toward me in the pic and had an LED red color on so I could see him while out in the dark last night

beautiful Husky. Eliot

Description: Black and white Husky left eye blue right eye brown white stripe in middle of face. female
in heat. Sweet calm dog. Took her to vet. No chip. Vet says she belongs to someone after looking at her teeth and claws. Gave her a rabies shot. Her front feet, the pads, were reddened. Vet gave me carprofen which she took as well as a pill for fleas tics and heartworms, as a precaution. The dog is in fine condition except for her front pads, which appear to me to be getting better.
I have an intact male two year old, the same age as this female and keeping them apart is proving to be a challenge. Help!
