FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH DEAD RACCOON

So yesterday ma and I were strolling around the pond and we stumbled upon a large furry thing not moving in the snow. Ma looked and realized it was a raccoon. I was scared and nosey. I did bark once when I first saw it. I wanted to get closer but the large party pooper always attached to me at home wouldn't let me. We'll try to get a pic next time we go out.

Large party pooper here: Wasn't 100% sure it was actually dead as I didn't see blood or any obvious sign of injury, so didn't want to push our luck. I think I see it out there this am, so will grab the camera this go round. Still not letting her get too close.

She has seen dead birds here, stuck her nose in them even, but just not sure about larger animals.

ETA: Video added. She got closer to it but still wasn't overly eager on her being too close.
