The beach. For me really THE place to discharge and recharge.

Hailey also shows that very clearly. As the eldest, she functions a bit as a pack leader. When the other dogs are playing, she rarely really participates at home. She happily walks around and is involved, but keeps the overview and does not let herself be lured out of the tent. On the beach she suddenly starts digging, playing and running exuberantly. Wonderful to see. And when I look at my own role at home, I realize again what kind of mirror she is holding up to me.

Does your dog sometimes hold up a mirror to you? ✨✨✨ 🐶

Beach!

5 happy faces on the beach. Well actually 6 but my head is not in the picture ;-)
My heart overflows with love when I see and take such pictures.

Lovely weather, running, sniffing, playing and swimming. It was very quiet but we did meet and Indy's brother Frodo from . So fun and so coincidental!♡

Dear Kiky among the flowers! 🏵

What a lovely spring day it was today. Both we and the dogs enjoyed the sun. Hopefully it will stay that way for a while.

With Kiek it did not come to a mating. Who knows in the fall. For now we're going to enjoy Amy's growing belly.

We will also start moving the new barn this week, looking forward to it! ♡

Echo 📸

Today we visited the nicest chihuahua hotel there is. And that is of course so nice to be able to make an echo in a relaxed atmosphere, in a beautiful place. 🐾

Our mini vet Elize was allowed to help look for puppies in Amy's belly. Even though it's still very early to scan, we already saw ini mini puppy blisters 🥳.

Proud of our dear Amy! Grow well through little ones, we can't wait to meet you in a few weeks!💖💙

Indy and Browny

Today, among other things, went out with Browny and Indy for the ECVO investigations. Browny is completely clear and Indy has 2 small hairs on the eyelid edge (Distichiasis) but has also been found to be free of eye abnormalities. Super happy with these results. On to the HD photos!

Browny 1 years old 🥳

It's our sweet, handsome, tough wimp Browny's birthday today. He makes it a party himself, by singing songs all day long. Because he howls like a wolf with 3 ladies in heat in the house.

Have you ever heard your dog howl / howl like a wolf? 🐺

Today was the day, Amy was allowed on a date. 🌹

Amy's date lives in Germany so we drove quite a few miles today. The journey went smoothly and in the meantime we are back home with the children and the rest of the pack. The gorgeous black dude sitting next to Amy in the picture is called Bada Boom v.d. Rheinsalix or: Brock!
A beautiful, coarsely built male with a soft character.

Hopefully the apparently successful date will bring a good result and we can welcome puppies from this nice couple in 9 weeks.

Amy is in heat!

Super exciting, because today we did a progesterone test at the vet and she is almost ready to be mated. Ohh I'm already dreaming of a litter full of puppy love. 🥰

Pumpkin!🧡 Today we cut the penultimate pumpkin from our own garden from last season. The dogs all have a piece, the chickens a piece and we also have a share at dinner. The dogs enjoy standing in the sun and gnawing. Next year we will definitely plant pumpkins again, I am already looking forward to it. 🌱 Do your dogs like vegetables?
