Pictures from Saturdays group class and the last CGC class we held before Christmas. Dakota earned her CGC title during yesterdays class. Palmer got to attend the group class and did a great job. Sunny came out after class and practiced the place command with Poppy.

Today little Hucks dad, Jayden Chance, owner of Chance Outdoors swung by to drop off some new gear for Huck and take some pictures of him in action. Guide hunts are in full swing with back to back hunts for us. We've had a great start with good flying birds and the dogs are doing a great job and are happy to be working. Our first hunt was the Houstons annual hunt. We feel privileged that we've gotten to be a part of their tradition for three years now. For the dogs...this is what all the hard work during the off season is all about. All the road rigging, steady drills, conditioned retrieve, blind retrieve drills and bird finding is paying off. If you've never gotten to work over a bird dog and watch these artists paint their masterpiece in the field then you're truly missing out on life.

Clover girl bathed and ready to go. Clover was the first dog to go through our therapy program almost three years ago. We always love when this sweet girl comes to visit us.

We hope everyone had a great Christmas! As we look forward to the new year we wanted to go over a few things. Anyone dropping off in January will need to be prepared to fill out a new contract for the 2025 year. For our regulars we also need updated vet records as they become available. This year in addition to vaccine records we will be requiring proof of flea/tick and heartworm prevention. 2024 was a year of tremendous growth for us and we can't thank you all enough. We have exciting news coming in 2025 and can't wait to share it. Thank you all for your continued trust and support.

Dillon watched TV while Zoey and Oakley worked the place command outside, while introducing all the new board and trains to leash manners and the place command. Birdie got to try her hand at chasing quail.

When you work enough gundogs you know you're eventually going to hit a wall with them at some point of training and everything you think they know how to do goes straight out the window😂 We know that's just all a part of it, and all we can do is work them thru their issues. It's good to see Tag happy about retrieving again and working on building his confidence up!

Little Huck got him a pretty long retrieve working off the MoMarsh through a small decoy spread then back onto the MoMarsh. Huck is working good under E-collar pressure and waiting to be sent instead of breaking on the gun. Today we introduced doubles to him and hope to post his progress on that in the coming week. Overall super excited about this little guy!

Super proud of Price! He's struggled with confidence on distant retrieves so it's really good to see him pushing past and letting his drive outweigh the fear.
