Grogu left today for his new home. He hasn’t been in a straight load and never a ramp but he walked on to the new trailer like he has dne it a 1,000 time. So proud of him but I am feeling sad today. I will miss him!

Nothing to see here..... I havent pulled the tarp out in a at least a month so I thought I’d show Grogu again. But he just doesn’t care, cool as cucumber 🥒 Platic bags, tarps, cans and pool noodles, no worries

Grogu loves the kiddos ❤️ He doesn’t care is they are on the trampoline, on the swing set, rolling on barrels, running with flags, walking with the kids on bikes he just want to be apart of the action 🚲

Grogu had another ride in a bridle tonight 🤗❤️ Flexing, stopping turning and backing up ect. It’s funny, I bought him with the intention of putting time on him and selling but turns out I REALLY like this guy. He is for sale but I dnt mind if he sticks around a while❤️

Grogu had a nasty case of rain rot on his neck and back. I typically use a medicated shampoo to get rid of something like this but the weather has been too cold to give a bath to him so I was on the hunt to find a product I could put on, not wash off and was over the counter. I tried M-T-G Oil and absolutely LOVE it! It cleared it up in just 5 applications. I rubbed it on and walked away ❤️

2nd ride is in books and Grogu was wonderful 🤗 It was chilly and very windy but he did very well ❤️

The new trailer appears to be a bit more claustrophobic looking with a rear tack instead of a wide open stock trailer. But Grogu didn’t seem to mind. He loaded in and out like a champ 💪 ❤️

Today was a great day to climb aboard Grogu for the first time ❤️ My phone died before the end so I didn’t get any video of him walking about but he was wonderful! 🤗

Grogu spotted geese landing in the pond this morning ❤️ When he was standing I noticed I can’t see his ribs anymore 🤗 So I weighed him and he is up 125 pounds 💪

Grogu saw his first bike yesterday. He handled it well 🤗 He will see bikes nearly every single day from now till next winter as the kiddos bike, shooter and hover board constantly ❤️

I have NEVER had a 2 1/2 year old with Ulcers before but sure enough Grogu had them. Sense the day I got him he had a weak appetite at best. I would throw hay in and he would smell it and walk away. I’d put grain in and he would take a bite and walk away, some days not eating but a flake or two a day. When I started saddling him I noticed and overall dislike to his underbelly being touched. Not cinchy just ears pinned back and an overall look of being uncomfortable. I decided to treat him for ulcers 3 weeks ago and sure enough that was it! He is a hay eating machine now. I barely get hay or grain in before he eats every last bit and he no longer minds his belly being rubbed all over. He’s quieter in general. He has a few more weeks of treatment. But I just know he is feeling better and I feel better seeing him eat ❤️

Repetition, repetition, repetition... the ground is so cruddy right now. I have water, ice and slippery snow to work in. So we work on what we can work on and wait for spring ☀️ 🌸

I am anything but coordinated while doing the Jeffreys method with bibs, jackets and boots but Grogu handled it like a champ 🤗 It took a lot of hours for him to get to this point ❤️ Great job Grogu!

This handsome guy had 10 days off because of the cold weather. He was a bit rusty and bit spooky but came around nicely at the end ❤️ He remembered everything he learned and is shedding like crazy!! Can’t wait for spring! ☀️🤗

Do you see that?!? He’s in a normal halter with NO stud chain 🥳 Bye bye chain! I can say I finally trust him to not intentionally kick or bite me. If something scared him he kicked you, try to tell him what to do he kicked to hurt you, if you asked him to move his feet he kicked at you. I wouldn’t go in the stall with him, didn’t turn my back to him and I never let myself in a corner with him. If you got past all that than he would bite you. But now, now he is a sweetie! I trust being in a pen with him, trust him to be kind 💕He is absolute love bug and first to be caught. He knows where he belongs in the pecking order with me and that is the bottom. Maybe someday I’ll let him be even with with me so we can be partners, but for now he stays at the bottom 💓

Grogu has quite few more things I’d like to check off my list before hopping aboard for the first ride. But none the less I’ll be leaning over him, rubbin on him and flopping about like a chicken until that day comes so he will be prepared for the big day ❤️

The sun peaked out and Grogu was soaking it up sun☀️🕶 He is getting used to carrying a bit and let’s me put it on and off like a gentleman. Even learning to lower his head during the process
