Today I lost my best friend of 12 years. He was everything to me, and I didn’t want to make this decision today but the little node we had seen 6 months ago metastasized into full blown cancer.. I’ll miss you monkey. Please give all your pets an extra kiss tonight from me.

Next week is Valentine’s Day 💕 and the U.S. alone is estimated to spend over $2 billion on flowers, many of which can be seriously toxic to our cats and dogs. Before you buy that beautiful bouquet for someone with pets, stop and check that you’re not accidentally gifting them something dangerous – their pets will thank you for it!

We are in search of temporary foster homes for our furry friends, granting them a delightful break from the shelter hustle and bustle for just 2 weeks. Your support won't just be a gift to these pets; it will also provide much-needed relief for our dedicated staff and volunteers. 🏡❤️

Can you open your heart and home for a brief and meaningful stay? 🐾✨ Foster pick-up is scheduled for Wednesday, 12/20, through 12/22, and the drop-off is on 1/3/24. Plus, if you find yourself falling in love (which often happens!), you're welcome to continue fostering or even consider adoption.

Please submit your foster application (link in comments). If the specified dates don't align with your schedule, worry not! Once your application is approved, you can coordinate alternative arrangements with our foster coordinator.
