Hi my name is Paul Running Crane and I am a new farrier seeking clients in the Missoula, Bitterroot, and Flathead valleys. I recently graduated from the Butler Professional Farrier school in Nebraska and was a student of Dr. Doug Butler, the founder of modern farrier education, who wrote the renowned text book that most farrier schools use as their core curriculum across the US.
I have experience in hot, cold, and corrective shoeing and can do so from my model shop onsite. I am conscientious in my work and take pride in providing compassionate and reliable care. Prior to working as a farrier, I was a professional millwright at Superior Hardwoods and Millwork for 21 years and am now reconnecting to my roots growing up and working with horses.
