Thank you to my lovely partner for putting together another chicken coop. We now have 3 roosters so we've had to separate and have 2 separate areas for them so they don't fight. The 2 roosters are in this one with the hens and vinnie the other rooster is in the other one with 10 new silky chickens that needed rehoming .

They all get let our to free roam so don't worry they don't stay in there 24/7

Welcome Romeo and Juliet. They just arrived. They were advertised for free on gumtree and people were wanting to eat them. Luckily they are in safe hands now 🙂 Juliet is the first female goat we have now

3 years ago today this video was taken. Phil and Lil were my first baby sheep ! I lived in the suburbs and not on a farm . I was fostering them for but I fell in love with them and I couldn't give them up. I agisted places to keep them . Also moved to a bunch of different places to keep them . One place was even 4 hours away !! I'm so happy I'm living in Geelong now but I have done everything for my animals. I will never give up on them .

Hi everyone I've made a paypal account if anyone would like to make any donations to the sanctuary. All money will go towards the animals. We are completely self funded so any amount truly helps . The animals are always needing food,hay, medications along with alot of other things that we would love to get for the animals but haven't able to just yet like sheep panels and lots of other things that would make it alot easier . Boofy passed away this morning :( I found him down in the paddock still alive but he couldn't get up . I sat him up and held him and called a vet to come out but while he waited boof decided to take his last breath in my arms. Boof was 10 years old so I think it was just his time unfortunately. I will miss you boof I will never forget you sweetheart

Thank you so much to the people who donated for boof to be castrated and have a full check up. Boof is doing well. He is swollen but recovering well. The vet also checked the lumps that boof has and just said they are pus granulomas but they are nothing to worry about and to leave them be. They also cut his hooves and gave him antibiotics for his snotty nose but he is doing well 🥰

Boof was dropped off at the vet this morning the vet gave me a call though and they had emergency after emergency and were not able to everything they wanted for him. And unfortunately I won't be able to pick him up til Wednesday morning because of my work hours 😭 he is in good hands though

Today we went on a mission to pick up some free panels and fence stuff . It was so hard we had to dig them out if the ground. I feel sorry for my partner cos I ask him to help me with so much and we both work. I need to give him a break. I wish I was super strong 😭

Thank you to my lovely partner Xavier who set up new electric fencing for the goats. They were in the back yard before hand because they kept escaping . Now they have their own paddock and he also cut a hole through the fence so they can still go into their shelters at night 🥰

Peppa and George were given to me when an older lady had to go live in a nursing home and had to give them a new home. They were fairly old I was told peppa was about 20 years old. They lived at the sanctuary for about 2 years but peppa passed away from old age a few months ago and then a few months later unfortunately George started having health issues and was unable to stand. We did everything we could for George but the kindest thing to do was to put him out of his suffering and put him to sleep. They will always be loved and remembered. ###

The name peachys paradise is in honour of peachy who i rescued in winter lambing season she was freezing in a paddock with no mother around and would have died i also found her brothers Timmy and Brucey. Peachy lived a better life for about a year until she suddenly had breathing issues and I took her to multiple vets and over night stays where we couldn't find out what the cause was and her kidneys were failing her so the kindness thing we could do for her was put her to sleep. I love you peachy. I have many hopes and dreams for this sanctuary and hopefully I will turn them into real life. I was inspired by other sanctuarys and going vegan a few years ago before I ever knew the truth was the best thing I ever did. I feel like this is my life mission to help animals as much as I can and spread the vegan message.
