Sweets first ride in 5 months!
I hear all the time “we aren’t ready” pertaining to taking a lesson, entering a clinic, or just doing something new with your horse. I always feel like the only way I’m going to be “ready” for anything that comes our way is to get out there and do it, and surround yourself with professionals and individuals that support your goals! Even professionals need help and support! I have not ridden this mare in 5 months, we entered the clinic anyway. I didn’t have a chance to get her off property once before this, she has never seen this indoor. She has no shoes on since we weren’t going to restart til next Spring. We weren’t “ready” but she was fabulous, it was an amazing outing, and we did walk trot. Moral of the story, if you wait til alllll the things you think need to be in place are there, you’ll miss out on a lot!! #workhard #marepower #day1 #goals #ottb #babysteps #womensupportingwomen

George heading to his fourth place finish in his first novice! On a crazy wizard of oz level wind day he was a star from start to finish to end on his dressage score! So impressed with this dude and can’t wait to see him develop more!

George and Diane with some canter work!
Hearing “that was so much fun!!!” after a lesson is why I teach ❤️❤️❤️ so much fun to see the confidence and smiles build each ride!
George certainly is not always the easiest ride, but he’s a good sold guy and his progress this year across the board is just 🤩🤩
George being a star in the Jerry Schruink clinic this weekend! So excited for this upcoming event season with this guy! He’s going to shine with all this hard work! 😍😍😍😍
This year we are working hard on George’s rhythm and cadence to improve our dressage scores as he moves up the levels! He has come so far this year, gained lots of experience, worked with some AMAZING coaches, and set some really exciting 2022 goals! I’m very excited for this year and this little horse!
Happy New Year to all our clients, friends and family that got us through this year, it was full of heartbreaking loss, but lots of hope for the future, and for that we are thankful!
