Big shout out to our volunteers who come out to the farm in this freezing cold weather!! 🥶
They all do amazing work and we appreciate them so much!

Having the volunteers here, gave us time to focus on Sally, and work with the veterinarian. We greatly appreciate all of our volunteers who show up and do a fantastic job!

Biggest pill bottle ever!! (Beer can for size reference only 🤪). Sally has to have 32 pills a day for the next 10 days to fight her infection.

**Update on Sally.

Many of you have been concerned and inquiring about Sweet Sally.

Yesterday, we observed a sore on her nose, so we looked in her mouth and found a large lesion under her lip. We immediately called our veterinarian, who visited this morning. She sedated Sally, and cleaned and disinfected the area. The veterinarian found a deep hole in her inner lip, possibly caused by trauma. We speculate that Sally may have collided with or struck something with her mouth.
She is going to be on some antibiotics and pain meds until it heals. She will be getting lots of TLC💕

Doing my rounds on the farm and making sure everyone has freshwater and food. I was in giving Billy some love in his goat house. Then something started tapping on the window and surprise, it was PIP here for a visit

**Update on Sally

Sorry it has taken us so long to update everyone. We literally haven’t had a break. We have been so busy with taking care of Sally’s needs and the normal chores around the farm and building the new barn.

Our vet thinks maybe she pulled something in her neck and that’s why she is holding her head down. It could also be something neurological and that’s why we are keeping a close eye on her to see if any other symptoms arise. She put her on Banamine twice a day to help with swelling and inflammation. She’s eating and drinking and taking treats which is good news.

Our vet is coming again on Monday to take some exrays and possibly do blood work.

We are praying for the best for Sally. 💕💕

Sally isn’t feeling well. We are waiting for our vet to arrive.

We noticed her head and neck twitching and she just wasn’t looking right so we called our vet.

Please keep Sally in your thoughts and prayers.

We will keep you updated.

What a glorious Monday! The rain may have been intense, but it's made way for a beautiful day. We recorded over 2 inches of rain, but thankfully, everyone stayed dry.

The girls are now enjoying themselves in the sunshine! We hope your day is filled with joy!

This is ridiculous in December, or anytime for that matter!! I would take 25 degrees and snow over this! They said a 1/4 inch of rain today. It’s been raining all day. More like a 1/4 inch an hour!! The paddocks are flooded!! We are trying to keep everyone in the barn and in their shelters. It’s supposed to stop raining in about 12 more hours!
