Siamese cats fun fact✨

1️⃣ While Guinness World Record holders frequently shift, several kitties of the breed have laid claim to their titles over the years. For example, in 1971, a Burmese/Siamese cat gave birth to 19 kittens - the world’s largest litter of domestic cats and in 2016, 30-year-old Scooter became the world’s current oldest living cat.

2️⃣ They have found themselves in the homes of numerous famous faces - The Beatles John Lennon, Andy Warhol, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Kesha and even Taylor Swift!

3️⃣ Thanks to a mutated enzyme and the warm temperature of their mama’s womb, Siamese kittens are born a creamy white color! The distinctive darker color patterns on their ears, tails, and limbs only develop when exposed to temperatures below 33℃.

This reaction is thought to be caused by a recessive albino gene. For this reason, the breed is sometimes referred to as “temperature-sensitive albinos.”

Sometimes as much we want to get every cut perfect, not every furry friend is capable of making it through the process. 😢 But that’s ok!! ❤️ It’s about a happy, healthy and loved puppers.

✨Ms Patsy is a rescue/foster from Mission, TX that had not been groomed in well over a year before she came in. She left feeling so much better and is on her way to learning to trust🥰❤️

Meet Johnny!! He’s a 3 year old Husky/Malamute, which means he likes to leave hair confetti everywhere!!! Did you know both of his ancestors would ‘blow coat’ twice a year?? 😵 Every spring and again in fall. Which means to stay happy and comfy in this Texas heat he needs a deshed multiple times a year!
