Spot the dog!!! Sidney and I’s recent long walk to the lake and half way to Keswick! He’s highly strung and needs good stimulation everyday to keep himself from being the biggest pain in the bum you’ve ever heard of. His recall is great (when he hasn’t spotted a duck, rabbit, pheasant or sheep) typical Spaniel! When we’re in an area that may include these distractions we stay on a long lead.
I used to have a dog whistle for him, however having to run back to me whenever he saw a rabbit became SO annoying for him that he decided to chew it up and bury it in the garden.

As you can tell, he’s very highly strung. Which has given me quite a good amount of experience with dogs that can be quite high maintenance. The breeds I have interacted most with are German Shepherd, Greyhound, Cocker Spaniel, Springer Spaniel and Labrador.

Hello there! I've lived just outside of Bassenthwaite for 3 years now and have recently turned 15 last September.
I'm looking to be a dog walker for maybe £9 pounds per hour, however I worry that there are already dog walkers in the area and I'd hate to cause any upset.
I currently own a 1 year and 6 month old Cocker Spaniel who has given me a massive handful of experience in excitable, reactive and dogs that take quite a bit of effort to walk! If there is anybody that lives in or around the Bassenthwaite/Bassenthwaite Lake area that doesn't have the time they need to walk their dog, (and doesn't already have a dog walker!!!) feel free to PM me. There’s the possibility I could stretch to Cockermouth/Keswick area as I’m often over there.
Weekends and Thursday and Friday afternoons I am most free) However there’s always the potential this may change in the future.

Based around Armathwaite Hall area.
