🐎 Introducing “Fitz the Brief” now to be known as Buzz on the yard, the newest and final addition for a while to the team to complete my little string. This little lad joins me from the same yard as Fitz Well so has happily turned out with his old friend.
Buzz ran in his last race just over 2 weeks ago so is now going to have a little holiday and be a horse before beginning his new career. How beautiful is he? Be sure to give the page a like and follow for updates on this lad as he comes back in to work in the near future ☺️ 🐎

🎂 🎈 Today was officially Purdy’s 8th Birthday…so of course she got a birthday carrot with a candle (obviously not lit though) 😂 🎈🎂

🐎 Introducing “Fitz Well” now to be known as Fitzy on the yard. He is officially the newest member of the team (but not for long, watch out for more news this week!) he arrived last night and already settling in well with the others.
Having retired from racing and having a good holiday, he is now ready to start his new career. Very excited to begin working with him knowing he already schools very well over some decent size grids. More photos to follow after a tidy up when he begins work. 🐎

The horses are ready to resume training tomorrow after a well deserved few weeks out of work and it looks like the weather is on our side for it too! 😊

I do honestly believe that down time for the horses is so important so that they can physically and mentally rest. - Especially for those youngsters or green horses to digest all they are learning.

It’s been a stupidly chaotic few weeks so a little holiday for them couldn’t have come at a better time.

Looking forward to cracking on in the sun 🐎☀️

🐎 Introducing “Perfect Art” known as Purdy on the yard. She is the newest addition to the team having a previous and not so successful career as a flat racer, having only ran twice and retired as she was too slow.
Having arrived looking a bit sorry for herself a lot of time has been spent so far putting on condition and schooling her on to build some top line.
In the short 6 weeks she has been with me the improvement in her condition has been vast, and she is showing a lot of potential schooling over fences at home already. Definitely an exciting prospect for the future ahead of her and looking forward to getting her out on the circuit. 🐎

🐎 Introducing “Little Layla” known on the yard as Layla. She has been with me since an unbroken 3 year old and turns 14 now at the latter half of this year.
She has had a consistent record on the unaffiliated show jumping circuit in Essex, Suffolk and her time in Warwickshire.
This little mare loves her job having won several championship leagues and qualified for many events such as Hickstead Sunshine Tour, Trialblazers and Cricklands.
At just 14.1 she really does have the heart of a lion, and comfortably pops round courses up to 95cm despite the fact her conformation isn’t always on her side.
Layla has been a true asset to my team through the years for sure. 🐎
