We had a fantastic day at Gamber Fire House. STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL .. from 10 am to a little after 3pm, we provided close to 300 pony/horse rides to kids and adults. So much fun and raised money for the Messiah Luthern Church. The weather was fantastic and the Strawberry shortcake is just the part of it all. I hope to see you again next year and if you are interested in a riding lessons, bucket list play day .. or have residential homes your like a window, patio visit, give us a call.

One of the unique characteristics of our community is our neighboring farm is a Writers Retreat. One of the very talented Authors is an adult horse back riding student. Erin Almond took a break from her writing time to take a trail ride on a Misty afternoon a top Tucker. The field was her playground

Another awesome visit to our wonderful friends at Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover PA. Ares was petted .. snuggled .. talked to .. and fed soo many peppermints. We hear stories of when some of the residents were riders themselves or has horses for jobs on their farms. A few were hesitant to get to close st first but .. Ares being the perfect gentlemen .. put them at ease . If you know of a senior center that would a visit, give us a call, pm. We would love to come.

Ares and I take some field trips from time to time to visit some senior residences. While I'm sure it would LOOK like we are helping others, in reality, these beautiful, amazing, people share their stories, their memories and Ares gets alot of nose pets and peppermints - and we are grateful and humbled to spend time with them.

What a great day.. Ares went to visit some senior residents at Homewood Plum creek in Hanover PA. He met so many wonderful people. Some shared their memories of their own horses from decades ago.. he got spoiled with many peppermint.

It is sad to say but we too have to change our prices like everyone else. Our lessons will be increased to 75 an hour per rider with a packet of 3 purchased at once. Our Bucket list experience is $125 for the hour per rider. A less than 24hour cancellation fee of $50 is assigned. I am so sorry but we must meet our increased demand for horse care

In Maryland, students must earn 75 student-service learning hours to graduate. Your middle school or high school student can earn those hours at a Humane Society, Rescue, and small farm such as mine. Running a farm, caring for animals, can be hard work. I will provide educational opportunities for your student to apply math, reading, and elbow grease and earn those hours. This also can be experience for future jobs in the equine community.

We are honored and privileged to have a retired police horse in our program Diesel served National Park Police for 10 years. It is undeniable these horses are the bravest and most amazing examples of commitment and dedication to their riders.
