$4,735 to go, for today's goal. We HAVE to push hard. We cannot continue accumulating debt, and not meeting our needs. We need to make a big push and turn things around, and it needs to be now! Remember, if you absolutely do not have a single dollar to spare, that's okay! But you can share. 3000 shares would see us meet our fundraising goals. Please don't scroll past and ignore this plea. 23 dogs are counting on you right now! Please don't let their futures be canceled :-(

HELP!

We are now $1,621.34 behind on daily existing costs.

I URGENTLY need to pay myself back the $2,000 for rent TODAY.

We need $785.46 TODAY so I can pick up the meds/prevention at Martindale.

We have THREE appointments TODAY: North's recheck, Griffin's bloodwork, and Gunner's physio.

HELP

I might not even make it until September to make the official decision, we may crash and burn long before then. I have a small group of amazing supporters, but the vast majority of the followers on this page just aren't pitching in. They're not sharing, and they're not donating. Sharing is free and absolutely everybody can do it, but over 3,000 people here don't want to. I don't know why. I have no idea how to make you care, and get involved in saving the rescue so that I can continue to care for these 23 dogs that are counting on all of you. Maybe their lives aren't important to you. But then I honestly don't know why you follow this page. I would hope that you're here because you do care and want to make a difference. If that's true, I need you to hit that share button. I need you to hit it every time you see one of my posts, and especially today. We need an absolute miracle. We need to raise $5,000 at minimum TODAY. We have to get back on track. Will YOU help??

Please keep sharing guys. We absolutely need to get these meds picked up tomorrow, I can't afford the restocking fee, plus we need them! My landlord is also very antsy because my rent is now seriously overdue and I haven't been able to pay myself back that loan, plus we have our vet appointments tomorrow. We're only at 16 shares, and two raffle tickets sales. We have to do better than that! Please, please help me. If the funding doesn't come through, the rescue will have to close. We cannot run on thin air. Help!

WISHFUL WEDNESDAY

Good Morning Everyone ☀️ I had a very stressful sleep last night. Nightmares about stuff happening to the dogs, likely triggered by everything that does keep happening 😅 But this morning is sunny, and cool, and I'm supposed to meet a friend for a hike, so 🤞 today turns around!

North: Is looking fantastic! She has her recheck tomorrow and I am feeling confident that her stitches will come out. The skin is *almost* fully healed over.

Nox: Is also looking good. Still lots of meds to go, but her elbow pockets are shrinking, and no more drainage. Her recheck is the 12th.

Griffin: Doing very well! His shaved belly fur still hasn't come back, and he already had 'spay coat', but with the pred he's even more of a cotton ball 😅 He has his routine bloodwork monitoring tomorrow ( I think just electrolytes 🤔).

- Nellie: There is no one that has worse luck than me 😅 She had been looking slightly chunky lately, so I cut her food back a few days ago. Like literally 2-3 days ago, by about 1/4c per meal. She's still getting 2c twice a day. Last night looking at her, she is now too thin. My mind has immediately gone to EPI. For her to drop weight so quickly, with such a minor adjustment, definitely not norm. I've put in for a quote for bloodwork, and then will see about getting her in and checked out. I hope to goodness that I'm wrong, because of course this happens while I have an app in progress for her 😭 I'll keep you posted.

Yesterday $84 came in, in donations, thank you! $503.42 was spent (gas, Nox food, cash to Martindale). We are now $1,303.84 behind in daily costs. We have $785.46 remaining at Martindale for the product waiting for pick up. We have North, and Griffin's vet visits tomorrow + now Nellie to schedule in. My wish today, is as everyday, to get this trend turned around, and have the support coming in to cover our costs, and pay off our debt. I don't want the rescue to close, but I need your support to change that around. Will YOU help? 🙏

DOG OF THE DAY: CYPRESS!

New Month, New Angle! This month I'm going to focus on one of our awesome dogs each day. To keep it fair, we're just going to do alphabetical order ;) Next up, the goofball Cypress!

Cypress is new to the rescue, and arrived via a shelter partner. Previously a stray, unfortunately we do not have any information on his past, beyond his arrival at the shelter.

Today we need to get him sponsored! Caring for dogs, especially long-term, adds up quick. Sponsorships help cover some of those costs. Please help us get him 100% sponsored today!

Cypress will be available for adoption!

Cypress is an absolutely lovely boy! He is fun, goofy, and totally a child at heart. What he lacks in training, he makes up for in big personality! He's new to the rescue so I'm still getting to know him, and he has his first vet visit book soon, but I anticipate he will fit well into most families with a little Shepherd experience. He loves people, especially if you give him butt scratches! He will run straight for me, and force his way underneath so he can stand with his butt-presented, lol! He loves the water, and chasing the hose! He has been mostly dog neutral, with some barrier excitement, and I look forward to testing him with an appropriately matched canine friend shortly. I think he should be just fine with cats with proper training and introductions. Families with children will be welcome, with the understanding that he's large, and a bulldozer, and Littles are going to be sent flying, lol! Dedication to his training, and teaching him to respect personal space boundaries will be key to your success. If seeing a giant bulldozer run through your house will cause you or your kids to be stressed, then he will not be the dog for you. If this handsome love bug sounds like the guy that might be missing from your life, watch for his profile and adoption info very soon! It will go live at this link >> https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/41901070-niagara-falls-ontario-german-shepherd-dog

Okay, we have $785.46 remaining to raise for the prevention/meds waiting at Martindale after dropping off some cash, and processing Durian's insurance today. I am back there Thursday for North's recheck, and Griffin's bloodwork, so we MUST have this raised before then!

I am also completely out of puppy food, so this is URGENT. The cheapest I have access to, is $106.55 + tax ($120.40).

New Month, New Angle! This month I'm going to focus on one of our awesome dogs each day. To keep it fair, we're just going to do alphabetical order ;) Next up, my swashbuckling Cutlass!

Cutlass is also available for adoption!

Cutlass is a stunning young man, who is very eager to find his forever family! He's a little bit of a middle child, likes to think he's the top dog, can be a little bit of a p**p disturber, but just wants to belong and fit in. He absolutely loves big Uncle Tako, and would benefit from an older, well-balanced dog, to help him shape into the best adult version of himself he can be. He absolutely loves the water, and is always the first to get in the kiddie pool. He's petty much always wet! He loves to chase, and play, and always sounds like a royal rumble when he's wrestling. He is one of the most vocal puppies, and is very expressive. He's absolutely drop dead gorgeous, and loves his cuddles! He deserves to stand out as the special boy that he is! Think he might be the right one for your family? Details and to apply >> https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/40930352-niagara-falls-ontario-german-shepherd-dog-mix
