Cutlass is a stunning young man, who is very eager to find his forever family! He's a little bit of a middle child, likes to think he's the top dog, can be a little bit of a poop disturber, but just wants to belong and fit in. He absolutely loves big Uncle Tako, and would benefit from an older, well-balanced dog, to help him shape into the best adult version of himself he can be. He absolutely loves the water, and is always the first to get in the kiddie pool. He's petty much always wet! He loves to chase, and play, and always sounds like a royal rumble when he's wrestling. He is one of the most vocal puppies, and is very expressive. He's absolutely drop dead gorgeous, and loves his cuddles! He deserves to stand out as the special boy that he is! Think he might be the right one for your family? Details and to apply >> https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/40930352-niagara-falls-ontario-german-shepherd-dog-mix

Clipper is just 🥰🥰🥰 Each of the puppies in this litter are so special, and he is no exception. Clipper is a dog with many layers to peel through. Inside he is soft, mellow, and super snuggly. He's easily the chillest of the puppies when bumming around in the house, and I've even seen him lay on his bed, and hang his head over the side to eat his breakfast. He's just that kind of guy! But when he's outside, he's tearing around, and he happily body checks me just like the late Hugo the Malamute 🤣 He bounces between the guy getting picked on, and the guy that's leading to charge! He's right in those formative months, and it's important that he has as many positive experiences he can, and continues his worldly exposure. He is a soft and shy fellow in personality, so he needs patience, kindness, and routine. He's going to be a big boy, and gives the best snuggles! He truly is going to be someone's very best friend. DOG OF THE DAY: BOUNTY!
New Month, New Angle! This month I'm going to focus on one of our awesome dogs each day. To keep it fair, we're just going to do alphabetical order ;) Next up, the sweetheart Bounty!
Bounty joined Inugoya with 8, 6 week old puppies in tow. Being sold as a "package deal" on Kijiji, when they didn't sell, her former owner agreed to surrender them to rescue.
Today we need to get her sponsored! Caring for dogs, especially long-term, adds up quick. Sponsorships help cover some of those costs. Please help us get her 100% sponsored today!

Bounty's former life was one of limited exposure. When I picked her up she had never been on leash, never been in a car, never been to the vet. Thankfully though, she is very sweet, and has a love of people! Everyday is new, and she is slowly learning about the world around her. She's come a long way with her leash skills, but it's still a work in progress. The biggest challenge is confinement, as she was used to just being able to roam wherever she wants. She's safe and secure in her Zinger crate, but small changes are big changes for her. She will need a family that is very patient and understanding with her transition, and willing to see her through in the long run. She has a very high prey drive so I am looking for a home without cats. She loves most other dogs, with the exception of certain females close in age. (This is pretty typical for the breed). She has a pushy personality which not all dogs appreciate. Kids that understand boundaries, and have rules enforced are welcome. She loves the water, and I can see her being a fun little backyard sport dog, as she continues to gain
DOG OF THE DAY: AURORA!
New Month, New Angle! This month I'm going to focus on one of our awesome dogs each day. To keep it fair, we're just going to do alphabetical order ;) Next up, the stunning Aurora!
Aurora joined Inugoya at just 1 day of age! Born 11/30/23, she and her mom and siblings made there way here, after being born in a barn 😩 Sadly, she has not received a single application during her stay!
Today we need to get her sponsored! Caring for dogs, especially long-term, adds up quick. Sponsorships help cover some of those costs. Please help us get her 100% sponsored today!

Aurora is put together beautifully, and it's just the type of dog that catches your eye. She has very much a sighthound type build, and I would love to Embark her one day if funds allow! She is incredibly fast and agile, loves to climb and explore, but also has an excellent off switch. She can be aloof with new people, but once she's comfortable with you, she will demand attention! She gets along with most dogs, but does not appreciate rude dogs. She loves the water, is treat motivated, and loves to chase! However her personality is very bidable, and she would be fine to live with cats with proper training and introductions. She also enjoys children, with proper rules and boundaries in place. If you have a rough and tumble household, where there's a lot of grabby hands, it would not be a good match. She is young, full of potential, and is ready for her next adventure! Is she the right one for your home?

DOG OF THE DAY: ATLAS!
New Month, New Angle! This month I'm going to focus on one of our awesome dogs each day. To keep it fair, we're just going to do alphabetical order ;) First up, the incredible Atlas!
Atlas joined Inugoya at just 5 months of age. Born 2/22/22, you would think all those 2's would bring him luck, but sadly he's still waiting. He is a fun boy with some quirks, but I'm determined to find his match!

Atlas is a working mentality type shepherd, but without the good breeding to back it up. As such, he has some genetic fear that isn't going to go away. It is very well managed, and he is a dog that I have zero issues handling. But he struggles very much with a new handler. His successful adopter needs to be committed to several meetings, and understand that it's going to take time to transfer that level of trust over to you. Once you have his trust, he has all of those amazing Shepherd qualities that we love, is incredibly loyal, and will only have eyes for you. He is very much a one person dog.
Surprisingly, his environmentals aren't that bad, and I can take him pretty much anywhere. He is, however, a chatty fellow, so he'll tell you how he's feeling, lol! I would love to see him go to a home that would enjoy engaging him in various K9 sport type activities to continue to build his confidence and connection. He isn't a competition dog, but the devotion he will give you is unparalleled.
If you have working Shepherd experience, a

She is happy to be back, and I am SO grateful to the amazing staff at NVEC that were able to see her today, and were very patient with our fundraising efforts.

Well, I'm trying to get there! Gave myself 3 hours in case traffic was heavy, for a 2-hour drive. But with this weather, it's even more ridiculous than usual! We need to be there in an hour and currently Google is telling me that won't happen. I hope I hit a clear section of Highway soon and can make up the last time. But I am continuing forward! In the meantime, North needs your donations! We've had a couple donations come in this morning, thank you so much! We have about $275 on the account at Martindale. I would very much like to pick up the prevention that's waiting there as well. Absolutely no donation too small! I don't know what her bill will be yet, but I'm sure it won't be less than $500, lol! And we still have about $1,000 worth of medication and prevention waiting for me to pick up, including Durian's medication as well, which I only have a few days left of. Absolutely every dollar counts! Please consider donating as soon as you see this post. ❤️
