Check them out here for a special launch offer! https://atlasoutfittersk9.com/dokcroks
Today marks a significant day in the history of dog sports equipment. Atlas Outfitters is proud to reveal a groundbreaking addition to our product line: DokCroks.
The Genesis: The inception of DokCroks was a moment of profound insight. Observing the limitations of traditional canine aquatic gear, our team embarked on a mission to harness the unparalleled design elements of Croks, combined with the efficiency of flippers. The goal was singular: to enhance canine aquatic performance through innovative footwear.
Engineering Excellence: The design phase of DokCroks was marked by meticulous attention to detail. Each prototype was rigorously tested in a series of controlled aquatic environments, ensuring optimal performance and comfort. The result is a product that epitomizes the pinnacle of canine aquatic gear.
Performance Metrics: The effectiveness of DokCroks has been substantiated through extensive field testing. Participants demonstrated a notable increase in both speed and agility, setting new benchmarks in canine aquatic sports. This represents a significant advancement in our understanding of canine hydrodynamics.
Manufacturing Precision: The production of DokCroks faced unique challenges, primarily in adapting the iconic Crok material to the aquatic demands of canine athletes. Through a series of technological innovations and breakthroughs, we successfully crafted a product that meets our stringent standards of quality and performance.
We invite you to explore the potential of DokCroks and elevate your canine companion's aquatic performance. Welcome to the next evolution in canine aquatics.

Spring has Sprung!
We have longer days and still relatively cool weather. Make sure you're getting your dog's back into peace performance condition!
✅ ️Add swimming as a way to beat the heat and provide low-impact exercise.
✅️ Start increasing Cardio with short running sessions such as biking or jogging. Early morning or late in the afternoon is best; before the pavement gets too hot.
✅️ Ensure you're feeding to correct portions based on your dog's needs. More exercise = increased calorie needs. Feed your dog based on body condition not the label on the bag!
✅️ Check your training gear for safety. If certain leads and collars/harnesses have been in Storage they might not fit the same or have wear and tear.
✅️ Enjoy the time with your pup!
Next pack hike for fun or for AKC FitDog will be Saturday, March 23rd 2024 at 9:30am at Soldier Creek Park's Mountain Bike Trail.
The trail is slightly strenuous through the woods with revelation changes and bridges. Should be quite the adventure!

Ribbons are here!
No plans this weekend? Come get your ACT together with your pup on Sunday in East Orlando!
This is for all dogs 15 months of age or older who have never earned a Novice Agility Title.
How does this differ from an actual Agility trial? This is a test. It requires 2 qualifying passes to earn at title. Refusals are not counted against the dog. You can set your own jump height. Level 1 does not have weaves or a teeter totter. The courses are shorter. The judge, me, will teach you about what to expect when entering a trial and proper procedure.
This is an excellent way to practice for the ring without attending a sanctioned match or fun run (you can earn titles!). You can also ask all the questions and get those nerves out before heading to your first trial. Let me help you get ready!
Feel free to message me for more info. Day Of Show Entries are accepted but pre-signup is STRONGLY encouraged.

The New AKC Fetch Program
When dog owners are asked about activities they like to do with their dogs, the most common responses are to take their dog for a walk, and to play ball (fetch) with the dog.
AKC Fetch titles were created as another activity in which owners could have fun with their dogs in the AKC Family Dog program. Earning AKC Fetch titles provides opportunities for both physical and mental exercise. While some dogs are natural retrievers, AKC Fetch, especially at the advanced levels, will involve teaching new skills such as retrieving...continue reading: http://caninechronicle.com/?p=274301

Soldier Creek was a lovely hike!
Great for 1 or 2 dogs at a time as the trail was quite narrow. We only saw 1 other person on the trail. It was HOT at 8:30am 🥵.
Did you know there is actual multi-use trail etiquette? Soldier creek has Bikers & Hikers take the loop in opposite directions which is a step above most places.
Here are some general trail rules to follow to keep everyone safe! https://bikewalkcentralflorida.org/multi-use-trail-etiquette-share-the-trail/

Make sure your pups can get some activities that will help keep them cool during summer! As Temps rise, we need to be aware of the early signs of heatstroke include: heavy panting and rapid breathing, excessive drooling, dry mucous membranes, bright red gums and tongue, skin hot to the touch, and a higher heart rate. Affected dogs become hyperactive and may have difficulty maintaining balance. More info here: https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/health/heatstroke-in-dogs/ While playing in water is an excellent way to keep them cool, keep vigilant so that they so not ingest too much water. Water intoxication is another serious danger with symptoms such as drooling, vomiting, loss of balance & seizures. It can happen easily and quickly with hose/sprinkler play as large quantities of water is ingested in a short periods of time.
