🚨 EMERGENCY! WILLOW NEEDS YOUR HELP TODAY! 🚨
Our hearts are shattered.
Willow, one of our sanctuary residents, bit off the head and ate a juvenile coral snake that made its way into her catio. Coral snake venom is incredibly dangerous, and every minute counts.
BluePearl Brandon acted quickly and has made the decision to transfer Willow to UF Veterinary Hospital in Ocala, the only facility with the life-saving coral snake antivenom she desperately needs.
Willow is an F1 Bengal who was found living on the streets of Plant City, Florida. She had been surviving by hunting chickens in the neighborhood until she was finally trapped. When every other sanctuary was at capacity, we were asked to take her in. She is only a couple of years old and has so much life ahead of her.
Now she’s fighting for that life.
As many of you know, Kindred Hearts Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. is 100% volunteer-run and funded entirely by donations. Emergency veterinary care like this is something we never hesitate to provide if we can, but it comes with an overwhelming cost.
💔 We need your help TODAY.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward Willow’s emergency treatment, antivenom, hospitalization, and critical care.
If you’re able to donate, we are incredibly grateful.
If you’re not able to donate, please share this post. A simple share could reach the person who is able to help save Willow’s life.
Please keep Willow in your thoughts as she makes the trip to UF at their Ocala location and begins this fight.
Thank you for always standing beside us and beside the animals who need us most. 🩵
