Hi! Everyone take a look at my fish tank, it is all covered with algae!
There are many factors that cause this to happen, it can be due to the organism production, water pollution or excessive light. Today, let's talk about how to control the light in a more convenient way. So here, I decided to use a switch timer to control the light timing to reduce the rapid growth of algae.
Let's look at my timer. It looks like this, with the label on the back// and the button next to it is like the on off button for timing operation. There is an indicator. Here you can see from 1 to 24, which means that we have 24 hours a day and then there is a small tip, the position where the tip points is where our current time, so remember to adjust the time before you use it. So here I would like to set my time at 9 o'clock in the morning, then I will turn it to 9. Each of this grid represents every 15 minutes.
So now you can try to start to press down outer black grids, one grid will represent 15 minutes. If I pressed 4 grids, it means 1 hour, so we ’re going to turn on the lights for 8 hours, so I’ll pressed the numbers of grids until 17:00hr which is 5 o'clock in the afternoon. In this way, my fish tank light will automatically turn on every day from 9 am to 5pm. Automatically repeats for everyday without manual switch. *Let me demonstrate to you now, let say now is at 9am in the morning, by the time at 5pm it will automatically off. *
Okay. In this way, even if you go out, you don’t have to worry about the overgrowing algae in the fish tank due to excessive light. I hope you’ve learnt something today. Bye!

鱼缸长藻类大致上应该是有几种原因:

1) 缸中有机生物所产生
2) 长时间开灯照明/太阳晒太多(excessive light)
3) 水质污染，排泄物和残饵没有及时清理

所以今天就针对控制灯光时间来说说吧!
今天我选择了开关定时器来控制照灯时间以减少藻类快速生长。

大家看看我的定时器，它是长这个样子的，后面有这个标签，旁边这个按钮就是显示普通开关或是定时操作。这里有个显示灯(indicator)。这里可以看见1到24，就代表着我们一天24小时的时间，然后这里有个小尖头，尖头指向的位置就是我们现在的时间，所以使用之前记得把时间调好。那我现在把时间设定为早上9点，我就把它转到9，然后里面的一格是代表着15分钟。现在外面黑色的这个部分呢，把它按下去，一格就代表15分钟，像我现在是按了4格，就是1个小时了，所以我们现在要开8个小时的灯，我就把它按到。。17时，就是下午5点钟。这样一来，我的鱼缸灯就会从早上9点亮到5点后，自动关灯。24小时就一直自动重复，不需手动开关。现在我做个示范，当天转到9点时，灯就会亮了，然后走到17时，灯就会关上了.

好啦这样一来，就算你今天出远门，也不用担心家里的鱼缸会因为过度照光而长满青苔，鱼缸里的水草也不会因为缺光而死亡啦希望你们会喜欢，谢谢!

Hi, everyone, I am a guppy (scientific name: Poecilia reticulata)
I am a very beautiful tropical fish. I’m bright and colorful, I have a beautiful and natural body shape and I’m also a very common ornamental fish. I like social activities, love being with all kind of fishes around me. My most suitable growth temperature is about 22 ~ 26 ℃ with mild alkaline water quality, pH 7.2 ~ 7.4.

If I am a male fish, I would have big fins on my body, beautiful and have special patterns. If I am a female fish, my fins were relatively short, my body color was relatively simple, and there were no gorgeous patterns as compare with the male fishes.

I am a viviparous fish! A viviparous is also called a half-fetal. This means that we will be fertilized in the mother's body, and the fertilized egg will remain in the mother's body. The nutrients required for development will depend on the egg yolk and finally be born in the form of a fetus.

You can feed me all kinds of food. My favorites are brine shrimp, earthworm slices, dried red earthworms, white worms, and mosquito larvae. But be careful! Please don’t overfeed me, because I often don’t control myself to eat too much and die.

Last but not least, little tips for you! When you take care of me, you can add a little salt to the fish tank, this can reduce the infection of diseases, such as water mold. ok! If you like me, take me home quickly! Bye 👋

我是非常漂亮的热带鱼，我的体色绚烂多彩，体型优美自然，很受人们的喜爱，是一种很有观赏性的魚。我啊, 喜欢群居活动，食性广，性情温和，能和其他热带鱼生活在一起。我的适应性很强，我最适宜的生长温度为22～26℃，喜欢微碱性水质，pH7.2～7.4。
如果我是男生，我的身上会有大大的鳍，漂亮而已有特别的花纹。如果我是女生，我的鳍比较短小，体色也比较单一，没有绚丽的花纹，跟男生靓丽的外形相比简直是天壤之别的。
我是卵胎生的魚类! 是不是没有听过呢?什么是卵胎生呢? 卵胎生也称半胎生。这是指我们会在妈妈体内受精，受精卵会留在妈妈体内，发育时所需的营养会依靠蛋黄，最后再以胎儿的形式生出来。
你可以喂我各种食物。而我的最爱是丰年虾、蚯蚓片、红蚯蚓干、白色蠕虫，以及蚊子幼虫。可是要注意哦!请不要过度喂食我，因为我往往都不会控制自己导致吃得太多而撑死。

Hi, I'm Cherry shrimp~ Let me introduce myself and tell you about how I wish my owner to pet me!
I prefer clean water with a pH of 7.0-7.8, and a temperature about 22-26 degrees C. I can live for 1-2 years under an ideal condition. I love to eat Indian Almond leaves (catappa leaves), shrimp pellets, algae wafers, blanched vegetables such as zucchini and carrots!

I have a peaceful and non-aggressive disposition, and have no real means to defend myself. So...please keep me away from those big and aggressive fish!! I love plants and hiding spaces, it allows me to sit on, groom myself and I’ll feel safe!

Remember to ensure the water parameter stay stable all the times. I'm very sensitive to copper and ammonia spikes and water contains nitrates. Copper can be found in lots of medication and fish feed so always check the label if you are feeding my fish tank mates.

Now! Take me home and I will add color to your aquarium!

嗨嗨! 我是爬岩鳅(学名为Beaufortia Levertti )
有没有觉得我像小提琴?
我其实还有个外号叫 “爬岩鳅琵琶小提琴鱼"哦!
哈哈哈! 是不是很可爱~❤️

我是鱼你是谁
我是一种底栖小型的鱼类。体色较为多变，体型特化，喜欢栖息于水流湍急、多砾石的山涧溪河中，吸附于石块上生活，以藻类和小型无脊椎动物为食。在饲养中，需要保持鱼缸中溶氧量充足，尽可能地创造一些水流，以模拟其原来的生活环境。

养鱼提示
如果要养我的话要尽可能地保持水温不要超过28℃哦。我们不挑食，可以喂以藻片、异型鱼专用饲料或是冷冻的水蚤~还有其实啊! 我是不吃粪便的哦，很多人都会误会我有吃粪便也!

Guess what? I have a nickname called "Climbing Rock Loach P**a Violin Fish"!

Whatthefish
I am a small benthic fish. I have different type of body color with special shapes. I used to live in the turbulent and gravel mountain stream rivers and I tend to lye on stones. To pet me, you have to make sure you have sufficient dissolved oxygen for me and I need some water flow as much as possible to simulate the living environment that I used to be.

Pet tips
If you wish to pet me, you should keep the water temperature below 28 ℃. We are not picky eaters, we eat algae, special dedicated fish feed or frozen daphnia ~ And actually! I don’t eat f***s, many people will thought that I eat f***s! I AM NOT A BANDARAYA! 😡
