Happy August! We are blessed with an incredible artist, our front-desk receptionist, Abi, who does our monthly board. This month we gave her the challenge of trying to depict Makenna's bearded dragon, Little Man, and she brought her A game so we had to brag on her talent! Way to go, Abi!

- Dr. Fielder will be out of town for continuing education from the afternoon of Wednesday, 2/7 and will be back in office on Tuesday, 2/13. Unfortunately large animal emergency services cannot be offered while she is out of town. We thank you for your understanding as she completes required hours of continuing education to better serve her large and small animal patients.

We will be keeping our typical Monday through Thursday 8 am to 5 pm hours, but adding in two Fridays per month from 8 am to 3 pm! These Friday openings will be on the first and third Fridays of the month, starting January 19th, 2024.

Meet Pearle! Pearle is a sweet 9 year old spayed Pitbull Mix. She gets along well with dogs and cats but can become slightly food aggressive so she will need her own feeding time. The current caretaker is willing to pay for her next set of vaccinations if necessary. Let's find her a loving home!

See those little guys wiggling and swimming on the slide? Those are microfilaria from a dog that tested positive for heartworms in our clinic just earlier THIS WEEK. All of those little guys came from just ONE DROP of the patient’s blood. Microfilaria are the “baby” heartworms that travel throughout the patient’s body and are spread by mosquito bites.
