Hey friends! Sorry it’s been so quiet over here lately. We took the summer off from fostering. We plan to ramp back up soon once we adjust to school again. In the meantime, we do have a new permanent resident at Happy Habitats. Meet Bravo, the bearded dragon! He was found in an abandoned home. He’s adjusting well, eating lots of salad and live insects! We will share more as we prepare for fosters. As always, thanks for following!

She’s here! Meet Holly Star, our first hedgehog! She was rescued along with around 70 fellow hedgies 🤪 She is a bit shy and skittish, but also very curious about us humans. She is under a 30 day watch before she’s ready for adoption. We will be sure to keep you updated. Thank you for all the gifts, they are arriving just in time. We cannot thank you enough. Holly will forever be our logo’s hedgie! 🦔❤️

Fettuccine and Alfredo update! Plucking has completely stopped! Both have successfully transitioned to a high-quality diet. We were concerned Alfredo wasn’t actually eating. He likes to toss his food around more than eat it 🤦🏼♀️ But after several weight checks it appears he’s eating more than we thought! Fettuccine’s feathers are slowly coming back in. We are so excited to see them both recover. We believe they will be ready for adoption soon!

Yesterday was a bittersweet day. While we said our farewells to Hana, we brought in two more sweet buns - Snap Pea and Skittles! These two rescues met by accident at .inc and fell in love instantly. It’s so fun to have a bonded pair running around! These two are ready for adoption!
It’s a match! Hana and her new bunny bestie Leroy had a great first bonding session!! Now to see how they do at home together! All signs point to adoption!! .inc

Dawson update! He’s been doing great taking his meds three times a day. It looks like his crop infection is decreasing! It may be hard to tell from the pic, but his chest is just slightly bulged but it was much larger. He goes back to the vet next week, so send good vibes for our boy that he is cleared of infection soon ❤️
Our wishlist is updated for our new residents!! We need food, bedding, toys and more for our budgies and gerbils. We appreciate the ongoing love for our critter fam!
