Happy birthday on the 10th!!
So happy to see all the pups and that the pups have certain tendencies that they got from Stout or Gem! Too funny! Great stories and nice to reconnect. Just think that there could have been 14 - YIKES!

I think we are a go!! Looks like rain is out of the picture for us.
We have bbq sandwiches, cucumber salad, taco salad, chips, zucchini cake, lemonade…join us from 2-4 tomorrow. We are excited to see the pups altogether! Jude and Duke are home for the weekend from their training!
And everyone will go home with some peppers!! The garden is producing. Lol
We canned 36 qts of tomato juice today and that’s just the beginning of the tomatoes.
Thank you to Bill and Lisa for hosting. They do live on a busy county road so you may want to bring a leash.

DOB: 8/10/22 - Happy Birthday to all the pups! Birthday Party - Jefferson (address posted previously). Sunday, August 6 from 2-4. We will provide a sandwich - POTLUCK - please bring dish to pass, salad, appetizer or dessert and BYOB! We will have some light refreshments!
Dog treats and dog games....going to be chaotic! All of the pups and their owners welcome! Please leave other dogs at home.

We may do this more of a potluck along with treat/games for the pups! LOL
All pups I do believe are living in WI. Our son (who is USMC) and his family are transitioning back to WI so GUS is now a Wisco-Dog! He is a big boy...will be interesting to see all the dogs together and see how they have grown!

So sorry...things have been cRaZy busy. I was in VA to see our oldest grandson play his Senior Night of football - it was only for a few days but it was fun!
Saw GUS - he weighed in @ 22.5 lbs on 10/18 and a week later he weighed in at 29 lbs. How does he gain 5 lbs in one week? Yikes! He is a big boy and a very smart boy!
Our Jude is doing great. She had a vet appt. this past Saturday and weighed in @ 23 lbs. Last week she had a bought of diarrhea and it wasn't pretty....sounds like some of the pups went thru this. She is doing better now and back to eating her solid food. Mom Gem is off to SD hunting this week and she is very naughty. UGH...deep breath. Good - she sleeps pretty much thru the night and this week it has been with me in bed. I know - I know - not a good routine. She does spend time in her kennel. She got to play with sibling Duke last Saturday and that wore her out for a little bit.

So this is Jude. She likes to sleep on her back all sprawled out. We have heard that Gus does also...and we saw Duke over the weekend and he does also! Anyone else?

Gus left this morning with his new family ~ our son, daughter-in-law and (3) kids. Sniff...Sniff...we will miss Gus. Our granddaughters ran the pups until they were exhausted over the weekend.
It's been awhile since it has just been Gem and now Jewel! House is quiet and I can have my garage back and park my car in there! Gus & Jewel have slept the last three nights in the kennel with no accidents. There have been a few in the house but now the real potty training time begins. Gus & Jewel are diggers and chewers.
Jewel went to work with me today!! Adventure!
I will post pics of pups and their new families soon...I have everyone except for 'light blue' / Tater...we are hoping you are all doing great!
We weighed our pups yesterday - Gus 18.2 and Jewel was 15.8. We heard that Duke weight 15.2. We also heard that Gunner weighed in at 15 lbs last week too. Pups are gaining and growing!

We are down to two pups now as of Monday night...ours and our sons. It makes a world of difference. Al isn't working this week so he's had Jewel & Gus outside for the most of the days and even going in the truck with Mama Gem for rides. We have our sons dog for the week...but she's been naughty.
We hope all is well with you and your pups!! Jewel & Gus are still in the garage until Gus leaves for VA on Monday. It would be just a lot with four in the house for the week...and the pups are super tired out so they don't seem to mind. They have been playing quite a bit with Gem outside...

Just realized that my last video never posted.
Huge thank you to all who picked up / bought our puppies!! They are all going to such wonderful homes.
We had 4 left on Sunday and today 3...but Bode is leaving today so down to Big Gus and Jewel (ours). Christine Wright...counting the hours yet?? Our son Tom & his girls (Bryan is staying home to work) are coming this weekend for a quick trip from VA to pick up Gus.
I will attempt to post the video and more pics. We sure hope you are all doing great with your new puppy - your newest family member!!
I for one am not looking forward to all the puppy chewing...put everything away and up. I think that is almost as bad as potty training.

We have 113 LBS of puppies!!
Gus - the big guy was @ 13.8.
They still feed from Mama Gem about once a day just for a few minutes - can you imagine 113 lbs nursing?? YIKES!!
I will update weights later...we put them out back in the fenced in area while we were cleaning the garage and after a few minutes we had puppies around front. OMG - they are little **its...they run away from you now instead of running to you. LOL We got them all!!
Big Blu can't keep his collar on - it was too tight cause he is a big boy also. I'll put a different collar on him tonight.
Boo & Jewel have been quite sassy these last few days. The females. LOL
Bode has been a good boy....Presley has been also for the most part. Blu is always the escape artist - trying to get out.

Compiled info from previous weigh-ins. Total weight of all puppies and then smallest to largest. They are all gaining weight consistantly.
9/14 - 62 lbs. of puppies (Boo - Gus was 83 oz to 116 oz)
9/21 - 83 lbs. of puppies ( Boo - Gus was 7.1 lbs to 10.4 lbs)
We will see what today's weigh in brings. We will definately be OVER 100 pounds of puppies!

3rd pic - this is my morning...every morning. I have 10 very excited puppies running, jumping, biting, etc. at me every morning. I will miss that....a little.

More visitors last night ~ these puppies are so loved!! They have not lacked for attention that is for sure.
If anyone wants to see them before they are dispersed we should be home all this week after work. We pretty much are at home with the puppies still here.....
Getting closer now. Oh yeah - our girls' name is JEWEL!! Al was having a hard time deciding and it needed to be something that didn't cause problems when hunting with Gem.
We will weigh in one last Wednesday - all the weekly weights for each pup will be on their 'discharge' sheet from the Wright Household. They will get their 4th dewormer on Saturday along with shots and a wellness check.

The pups are spending more time in the garage due to the much cooler temperatures outside. We will see what the rest of the week brings.
They are super quick and very curious about everything so it's hard to let them outside in the front yard when there is 10 of them...they can run faster than me and we will keep them safe until you pick them up this weekend. We already know when some are getting picked up but if you haven't told me please just let me know what time on Saturday (or Sunday) works for you. I know you all just can't wait to get your new pup home!! We have their vet appt. @ 8:10AM on Saturday so anytime around the lunch hour or after.
Bittersweet.......they are super fun, cute & cuddly but it is time for them to go to their forever homes. This was our first experience with a litter. We (I) learned a LOT. Kudos to our female Gem for being such a good Mama. We can't forget Stout (male) either for without him these wonderful pups would not have been possible. We would like to thank Bill & Lisa for ALL of their help from the very beginning!! This was a JOINT effort for sure.
