Big releases, deep breaths, and getting dialed in for the moment that matters. ✨

This incredible mare gave us all the signs—those big yawns aren’t random, they’re a full nervous system reset and a body ready to perform.

Now it’s game time.

Cheering so hard for this amazing team as they head into the finals today—nothing better than watching elite athletes step in feeling their absolute best. Go shine 💫 g

At this level, maintenance isn’t optional—it’s essential. When more is being asked of these horses, we have to do more for them to support their bodies, their minds, and their performance.

The results speak for themselves… those big yawns during stress release say it all.

There’s something incredibly powerful about the moment a horse feels safe enough to let go.

This beautiful dressage horse didn’t just release tension today… he reached out. Wrapped his head around me in the biggest hug, then let it all move through—shake, lick, chew… reset.

These aren’t just “behaviors.”
They’re the body finally processing what it’s been holding onto, often silently, for far too long.

Our performance horses carry so much for us—pressure, expectations, physical strain—and they don’t have words to tell us.

But if you know how to listen… they’ll show you.

And moments like this?
They’re everything. 🩵

Some days remind me exactly why I do this. 🤍

This mare had some big releases today—yawn after yawn, letting go of tension she’s likely been holding onto for a long time… the kind they can’t tell us about, but carry anyway.

And then at the end, she quietly rested her head on my shoulder.

No force. No ask. Just trust.

It’s the sweetest moments like this that say everything without a single word—and I will never take them for granted. 🐴✨

I showed up to work on horses… and somehow ended up getting to swing a leg over one that is rare and SUPER special! The kind that reminds you exactly why you fell in love with all of this in the first place.

Grateful for the horses, the people who trust me with them, and the little unexpected moments that turn a good day into a really special one ✨🐴

Wouldn’t trade this life for anything.

“Random Injury”… or a Muscle Activation Problem You’re Missing?

Most injuries don’t start with a big moment—they start with subtle compensation patterns, improper muscle firing, and a nervous system that isn’t fully supporting the body.

If the right muscles aren’t activating at the right time, your horse will always find another way to get the job done… and that’s where strain, imbalance, and eventually injury come in.

This is why I focus on the nervous system first—because when the body is communicating clearly, movement becomes more efficient, balanced, and resilient.

Curious if your horse is truly firing correctly, or just compensating really well? Drop a 🐴 below or tell me what you’ve been noticing—I’d love to hear what your horse is showing you.

Nothing better than getting to fine-tune these elite athletes and then turn around and just soak up the quiet moments with them 🤍
Grateful to work with high-level performance horses headed for big things—and even more grateful for the owners who love them just as much as they chase the win.

Sawdust in places I didn’t know existed, boots officially one with the arena floor, and jeans that have clearly put in WORK today.

No fancy outfit, no clean lines… just proof of a day well spent doing what I love 🐴✨
