So this was a disappointing clutch in a multitude of ways. First and foremost I have determined that the male is a BAD breeder. This female is an amazing breeder and made me many large beautiful clutches so it’s not her at all. Furthermore, I have attempted to breed this male 3 additional times each to a different female over the years and every single clutch had issues. I will never be using this male again for breeding. The egg that is good has nice strong veins so perhaps it will make it. Time will tell.

I’ve been waiting for this clutch for what seems like forever. Very low chance that the Het Monsoon male is the sire but if I see Mojave then I’ll be insanely surprised.
Seven big, beautiful, healthy eggs and zero slugs. Can’t wait for these little ones to come out!

I’m not gunna lie, I though she absorbed and didn’t give much thought lol. The male had to stop breeding about 2 months in because he was not eating and loosing weight fast. So I only got like 3 locks from the two of them.
This is by far the smallest clutch I’ve ever pulled, two eggs (zero slugs) but they have strong veins so incubate till no debate!
Hope these little ones make it.

I can’t contain my pure joy!!!
Picked up this boy on Black Friday as Sunset 66% Het Hypo. Finally got the courage to send in his shed for testing and he Proved!!

This is the pairing I’ve been waiting for! Doesn’t look like much but this pairing is soooo powerful.

Knowing my luck I’ll get a bunch of white snakes but that’s what Genetic Shed testing is for 🤣

Believe this too be the last (second to last maybe) clutch of the year. Tried to reduce clutches this year because of my move. Very exciting clutch though!! Even if it’s slightly disappointing 😣. Two of the eggs look infertile but I’m incubating anyway until they go bad.

To say that I’m excited for this clutch is an understatement of grand magnitude. This is the first time this girl had gone in the six years I’ve had her. I’ve been pairing her since she was three years old and this is finally her first clutch.
I wanted a clutch so bad I threw two males in with her

1.0 Albino Pied
1.0 Clown Hypo Lesser Pastel
Maybe I’ll get lucky and get a split clutch 😉.
Both males locked many times with her but I’ll know the genetics of every baby regardless of the father.

Hi everyone, haven’t posted in a while but looks like 2023 season begins 😍!
So excited for this clutch, all the eggs have strong veins so can’t wait they come out. This is my first clutch where the male was produced by me so finally coming around full circle.

1.0 Albino Pied x Cinnamon DH Albino Ultramel clutch and they BOTH proved 😱.
I will eventually test the rest of the clutch but for now these two are my 100% holdbacks.

This girl 😅. She would never lock this boy for the past 3 years. The male is a proven Breeder by me. Finally I gave in and tossed a Clown Hypo Lesser Pastel and she locked immediately. So for sh*ts and giggles I throw in this boy and low and behold a lock.
So we will see what pops out.
I have 4 males I plan to throw at her

Clutch Update # 8….
Easily one of the saddest and bitter sweet clutches I’ve hatched so far this season.
Bitter:
All the babies came out except one, I left it alone and found it lethargic in egg yesterday afternoon. Pulled it out and found blood pooled in the egg. Seems it cut its own umbilical cord and bled out. I tried to tie off to stop the blood loss but it was too late and it passed a couple hours later. It was the all gene animal as well Super Pastel Chocolate DG Het Hypo 😞. It’s the baby in the last photo curled perfectly in the right corner…
Sweet:
Mom proved out to be Het DG. I technically produced 3/7 DG from the clutch. Now 2/6
