IS THERE ANYONE INTERESTED IN FOSTERING ME UNTIL I FIND MY FUREVER HOME PLEASE EMAIL [email protected]

Auckland fur lovers

My name is Posey and I’ll be three at the end of this year. I’m a blue and white fluffy French bulldog.
Before I begin to tell you how totally awesome I am, let me tell you a bit about my health.
I have been recently diagnosed with severe breathing issues. My nostrils are so pinched, I cannot breathe through them at all.
I will urgently require BOAS surgery, covering my nose, throat and tonsils. This needs to be done as a matter of urgency. My give a little page is currently at $1099 to help pay for this.
I have been suffering from regurgitation, but the vet said that there is an 80% chance the BOAS will fix this.
I also have a luxating patella, it’s just a mild grade, but will need to be monitored. And there is a possibility this will progress as I get older.
I can also be quite anxious, weary of men, children and some dogs.
However, I’m currently in a foster home and have been very very good with the help of anti anxiety medication.
In my foster home I’ve been hanging out with heaps of dogs too, and I’ve been a very good girl being friends with them all.
I’ve met children, some I have reacted to by lunging and barking, but since on the anti anxiety meds, I’ve just sniffed them and moved on. In case, older children would be preferred.
I’m very clingy and smoochy. I love being with my hoomans, always.
I know basic commands and am very good at coming to my name. I am well behaved on my lead too. I love going in the car! Especially if it means we are going to the beach or park.
I do love to chase birds. They are so much fun to run with.
I am semi crate trained. If I am to sleep in my crate, I do like to be in the same room as my hoomans. I also do love a good nap on the bed.
I can be a little naughty with my toileting and in a new environment I will need to be reminded where to go, but I pick it up super quick.
I have recently changed my kibble to acana duck, which I’m loving.
I would be best suited to a home with no current pets, maybe ones of similar age to me. Because I like chasing birds, I’ll probably like chasing cats too.
If you have children, that could be okay, as long as they are older and understand about dogs.
I would also do best with someone that is around all day, or can take me with them if they have to go somewhere.
The most important thing though is someone that will commit to my surgery I need as this will be part of my rehome agreement, to be carried out before end October. This will be somewhere between $2000-$3000 as an estimate.
My vet notes will be available to the chosen home

If you think you can offer me a perfect home, please email the below address for an application, stating my name, Posey, that you wish to apply for

****Oonagh is starting a trial ****
Taranaki locals!
I’m looking for a place to call home

I’m Oonagh. I’m a 1yr old female brindle French bulldog.
I’m a very special frenchie as I have a slightly longer nose than most. My mumma says it’s cause I’m nosey and it’s easier to stick to my hoomans like glue. It also has helped me with my breathing.
I can be a bit shy and anxious, especially when I meet new people and dogs. Give me a bit of time and I’ll warm up to them, especially if they are fun!
Because I can get anxious, smaller children wouldn’t be suitable for me. Noises and fast movements can make me jumpy and I bark and growl.
I could have a dog sibling, but again, it would take me a bit of time to warm up to them.
I haven’t met a cat, so it’s best I don’t have a new home with cats.
My favourite things are cuddles, smooshes, scritches and car rides. All things I can do with my hoomans. I do like hoomans bestest.
I have basic training sorted, including toilet training and walking on a lead. I even have a cat door I know how to use, but I know I’m not a cat, I’m just super smart. I can get a little destructive if I get bored.
I’m not crate trained, it’s beds all the way for me, so you better have room!
I make a great doorbell. I’ll tell everyone when someone arrives with my big scary bark. My hoomans say it’s not scary, but I’m sure it is. When I know they are okay, I do stop though.
My current dada is quite big and tall. I am weary of him, probably because of this. I do bark at him sometimes to tell him to back off.
I’ll want someone I can be with most of the time.

If you think you can offer me a perfect home, please email the below address for an application, stating my name, Oonagh, that you wish to apply for.

****I AM STARTING A TRIAL NEXT WEEK***Attention Waikato! Guardian home required
Hi, I’m Biscuit, a 4 month old mini dachshund.
I’ve had all my vaccinations and ready to go out into the big wide world.
Because I’m still a baby, I will need teaching everything!
I can also be introduced easily to other animals and kids of all ages.
I have learnt how to snuggle really really good though.
Because I’m looking for a guardian home, there’s some very important things I need.
I cannot be with other animals that are entire. I myself need to remain entire until I’m around 5 years old.
I will need a super secure home, incase I smell any sexy girls and want to try visit.
I will need a family that will love me and care for me and treat me like the handsome king I am.
I have a very important job to do, which is being available during my younger years ;till around 5 years old) to meet up with my girlfriends, if you know what I mean.
My breeders would only need me to do day trips for this, and they would pick me up and drop me home after, so you wouldn’t need to do any of that. This could be several times a year.
Because I can’t be neutered, daycare and kennels won’t be suitable for me, so you must be able to have alternative options.
All my day to day costs are to be covered by my adoptive family, including keeping my vaccinations up to date and any other vet trips needed.
There is no cost to adopt me.

To get further information on a guardian home, and to apply to have me come live with you, please email

Furiends, my names hazel and I’m looking for a new couch and bed.
I’m 2 and a half years young and I’m a deep deep chocolate colour, like a panther.
I’ve had a litter of puppies and now it’s my time to enjoy life and be the chocolate queen.
My new home would be best in northland or Auckland.
I’m a bit of a social butterfly and love people and dogs. I’d be quite happy sitting at a cafe, or going crazy on the beach.
Im great with kids, so if you have little people, I will be their sister.
I have such a lovely, caring nature.
I’m super well behaved.
I’m trained with all commands and will take myself out to the toilet.
I’d love a home that has someone around most of the time, or a doggy friend so I’m not alone. I’ve never been to daycare, but it could be an option for me.
I want to be spoilt and treated like the royalty I am, and that includes being able to sleep in your bed.
I get itchy though and am currently on regular cytopoint injections. This potentially could be managed by diet, but I like to steal food.

There is no cost to adopt me, but there will be a spaying contract, to be carried out at my new family’s expense.

***Thank you to all those that applied for Brodie. He has started a trial today. Unfortunately we cannot contact everyone that has applied.***

Hi furiends! I’m Brodie and I’m looking to join a new family.
I’m 2 yrs young, tri coloured male French bulldog and have been neutered.
I’m currently located in the Bay of Plenty, but I love the car and would be happy anywhere in the North Island.

I’m such a good boy and will listen to commands and go outside to the bathroom. I’m not crate trained, but do have my own bed I sleep in.
I love going for walks, especially if my ball gets to come too. Running up and down the beach is the best.
I can be vocal from time to time, especially if I can’t get to my people. Like if I’m outside and they are in, I’ll remind them they left me out.
I currently have a brofur, he’s a 10yr old frenchie, but we aren’t getting on. I can get a bit too boisterous for him.
Because I’m still young, kids over 7 would be better as I can get a little mouthy still. I just want to play, but I’m still learning manners.
Overall training will do me some good, but I do need consistency cause I do forget my ears.
I can stay at home for periods of time and be a good boy. Daycare could also work for me, although I’ve never been.
I currently have Blackhawk kibble for my meal times and I’m super food driven.
I have been told I have luxating patella’s (kneecaps). However, my latest vet has checked me over and says they can’t see any signs or symptoms. No scans or X-rays were done.

There is no cost to adopt me as I just want the very bestest home.

****FRITZ HAS FOUND HIS PAWS AND IS STAYING PUT AT HOME***

I’m looking for my fur-ever home in the North Island
Hi furiends! My names Fritz and I’m a 2 and a half yr old neutered male French bulldog.
I currently reside in the Bay of Plenty region but I do love a car ride.
I’m a typical frenchie with clown like behavior and bond to people well.
I can be a little jealous, so I need a home without any other pets or young children.
Some dogs I just don’t like, and larger dogs I have been known to lunge at when on a lead. My current Dad can handle me, but I’m a bit naughty for my Mum.
I also can get itchy sometimes (cause not known) so I’ve been getting cytopoint injections every 6 to 12 weeks.
I’m currently fed on 6 fish kibble.
I’m lead and toilet trained, in fact I’m so smart I can use a dog door. I was previously crate trained, but I’ve been sleeping in my humans bed. When I see animals on the TV, I will try and get them.
I can spend a bit of time on my own when required, but I do prefer to be with my human slaves.

There is no fee to adopt me.

***BONNIE'S ADOPTION IS COMPLETED SORRY IF YOU MISSED OUT***
The cutest wee Bonnie you will ever meet.
I’m on the hunt for a new family that will like a new best furry friend.
I am a one year old brindle girl currently living in the Wellington region.
I’m your typical frenchie that loves humans and spending time with them.
I’m fit and healthy and like to be entertained.
I’m toilet and crate trained. I know commands, although sometimes my French ears kick in and I don’t listen. My favourite game is finding ways to escape, so you must have a super secure place for me to be.
I am comfortable spending time on my own, but being with people is best.
I’m not a fan of those pesky things called cats and I will chase them, so not having any at my new home is best. I am however super friendly and love children.
I’m currently fed a mix of wet and dry food.
I have my own crate, house, toys and bed.

There is a fee of $500 to adopt me.

If you think I might suit your household, please email

Sorry everyone!
We jumped the start line on posting wee Cypress. We have removed the post for the moment until we hear back from his owner that he is ready to go up for adoption.
Please keep an eye out.

NALO HAS STARTED A TRIAL. GOOD LUCK NALO AND YOUR NEW FAMILY
Northland! I’m Nalo.
I’m a 2yr old cream boy looking for a new family to entertain me.
I’m on the larger end of the scale for a frenchie, so little children won’t be suitable for me. I am however good with all animals.
I’m not a big fan of the car, but I’m hoping together we can change that, cause wherever you go, I wanna go too.
I need plenty of simulation and fun, or I may just try and find it on my own.
I am trained, but I do have French ears sometimes. I’m also crate trained.
I have no known health issues and I’m currently being raw fed.
As with most frenchies, I prefer the company of people, so someone that can have me with them all the time is required. I am ok to hang out by myself if you need to grocery shop cause I’ve heard dogs can’t go there.
I’m currently living in Northland, travel to meet me will be at your expense.

There is a cost of $500 to adopt me.

If you think you could give me an awesome home, please email

Renters, we know we always say ‘no renters’ but we know some of you have awesome landlords. We would need to see your rental agreement with an allowance for pets.

When you just want Miami every day…
I’m Miami and I recently turned 2. Im known as a blue fawn pied French bulldog, but I’m super cool cause I have a blue eye and a brown eye.
I love all animals and humans, big and small, and am used to hanging with them all. I do really love humans and spending all my waking time with them. I can do a few hours at home on my own though, if I really must.
I’m toilet and crate trained, I am still learning walking on a lead. I know different commands. I don’t really bark, nor do I dig holes.
Honestly, I’m just a dream and will be the bestest girl for you. At least until my cheeky side comes out anyway.
I’ve been fed on purina pro plan performance, which I’m doing well on.
I’m currently based in Waikato, but can travel to my new family at their expense.
I’m not currently desexed, but I will be before I go on trial to my new home, so there will be a delay before I’m ready to go.
I’ve got no known health issues / complications.

There is a cost of $500 to have me come live with you.

Faze, the coolest dude you will meet
I’m Faze, I’ve recently turned 2, and I’m a blue frenchie.
I’m super chill and just go with the flow. I’m fine with other dogs, but I’ve never met a cat before.
I like kids of all ages, if they play with me, that’s even better.
I’m a typical frenchie and prefer to be with my humans, but I can stay home for a few hours if necessary.
I’m toilet trained, crate trained, know words and I can even fetch. I will always bring whatever you throw back to you, I'm good like that. I do bark sometimes.

WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR FANTASTIC COMMENTS, WE COULDN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOU.
To all our followers,
We started this service a few years ago because of our love for the French Bulldog breed.
Our sole purpose is to make sure no frenchie goes without a home, for whatever reason or circumstance.
We have tweaked and tweaked over the years to try and make this continue to work.
With every chosen applicant to take on a frenchie, we complete checks to ensure they are suitable.
One of our most recent changes we have made is stopping offering a guardianship option.
We are now implementing another change where we will not be assisting in the ‘selling’ of frenchies, with the maximum amount now being $500.
A portion of all monies exchanged to come to us, which we use to cover any costs we incur. However, we are volunteers and pay ourselves nothing for the countless hours we invest to finding the perfect home.
We know that times are tough for everyone, which is why we have put this cap in place.
First and for most, our goal is to find the best possible home.
For those wanting to rehome, we hope you understand and still choose to use our services.
For all of you that follow, support, lift us up when the haters come, thank you!
For everyone that has taken on a frenchie through us, you are all the real angels and we hope that your addition has given you so much happiness and joy ❤️

**************REHOMED******************
Hi! I’m Winnie the firecracker red head.
I’m 4 years young and full of personality.
As a red head (known as a fawn) I can be a little fiery around other dogs although I do live with others that I am ok with. I have been trained to ignore other dogs when on a lead, but I will take a bit of time to relearn this with moving to a new home. I’m not to be trusted out and about off a lead as I have no recall. At home, I am fine in a secure yard.
I would be better as the only pet as I don't get on with other animals.
I like to think I’m the only pet child but I get on with children, especially if they play with me and give me all the attention.
I’m also used to a quiet peaceful lifestyle. Although I may adapt to city life, something a bit quieter is more my speed.
As with all frenchies, I love my people best of all. I can do a couple of hours own my own, when required, but I wouldn’t suit daycare or kennels.
I love going in the car, cars mean adventures and walkies. I can get anxious if you leave me in there to shop though, we all know it's best not to leave us in cars.
I’m trained, including crate trained as it’s my safe place. I’m also quick to learn new things too, when there’s treats involved.
My current family make me homemade food with offal and Perfect chicken dog roll, this seems to work best for me.
I haven’t been desexed and there will be an agreement to do this, at your cost, should I come and live with you.
I’m currently in the Wairarapa so relocation will also be at your cost.
There is a fee of $500 to adopt me.
To apply to be Winnie’s new family, please email to request an application

Taking expressions of interest

Waikato and surrounding areas
Please read the following very carefully.

We have a baby girl looking for a home. She has been diagnosed with an untreatable heart condition. There is the possibility that something could be done in the future, but also maybe not.
She cannot take any medication to assist. Because of this, there are no guarantees on her life span. There is the potential that she has a very short life.
Please google more about this ‘pulmonic stenosis’.
There will be a vet report available to shortlisted applicants.
Right, after you have done that and you are still reading….
She is a 12 week old pup. She’s had two vaccinations to date. She is active and happy and runs around with the other dogs all day.
She will not be able to be neutered due to not being able to go under anesthesia, although this may change with age. She also won’t survive having babies, as well as it potentially being an issue that could be passed on. There will be a strict contract with this as the welfare of this girl is top priority.
She is bright eyed and ready to learn. She is a giant smooch too.
She’s been around dogs, but no other animals. Given her age, this shouldn’t be a problem for her to adapt.

- someone that owns their home,
- that can be with me most of the time,
- Understands the breed,
- Learns all they can about my condition and aware of the limitations.

She will only go to the very bestest of homes where she can live her absolute best life every day, however long that may be.

************REHOMED************
Hi friends! I’m cookie, and I’m looking for a new home.
I’m currently in Auckland, so staying close is easiest, however, I can move around the top half of the North Island at my new families expense.
I’m a 2 1/2yr old neutered male. I’m super active and love ball sports.
I’m currently having ear medication to treat for mites, but other than that, I’m feeling good!
I really don’t like having my ear drops though, so I will bark in disapproval.
I have lived with a young child and a cat, and am quite happy with them both. As with any animals, I will need you to be patient with me as i bond and get used to any animals in the house, and them with me.
I’m okay hanging out on my own at home for periods of time, but I do prefer to be with my humans. Daycare could also be an option for me. I love going in the car and I travel well.
I’ve also had holidays at a pet hotel, so that’s no problem for me either.
I have my manners and know a few different commands. I haven’t been crate trained.
All in all, I’m a pretty laid back cool dude.

About you:
- Must be at home majority of the day, or able to take me with you (daycare could be a possibility)
- Own home, sorry renters
- Understand my breed and the requirements that come with it
- Be in Auckland or prepared to travel to meet me
There is a cost of $1500 to have me join your family, payable at the end of the trial.

I’m juno! I’m almost 2 and looking for a new home.
I’m a covid baby, so things have been a little challenging with my social skills. I’m telling you this part about me first as it’s going to define me and what sort of home I will fit.
I get super anxious around other animals, even just seeing them puts me on edge. If they get close, my first move is to get in first before they get me.
I’ve been working with a trainer, but I’ve still got a long way to go. So willing to put lots of time into me and helping me is a big part of our journey together.
So, now we have that out the way…
Boy do I love people and cuddles! I will snuggle you all day! I haven’t had a lot of exposure to kids, but I think they would be ok. Maybe if they were teenagers so a bit calmer for my anxiety would be better.
I love going in the car, just anywhere with my people really.
While working through my issues, daycare or kennels is not advisable so you must be able to have me with you. But I could stay home if you need to pop out for groceries.
I know commands, and I’m pretty good with my toileting. I haven’t had any health concerns and I’m speyed and up to date with all my jabs.
Did I mention I love cuddles?
In short, what I’m looking for is
- someone that owns their home
- Someone that can invest into my training, if you are a trainer, that would be awesome!
- Someone that can be with me most of the time
- Only pet in the house
- Older, calmer kids could be ok
- I’m in Auckland currently, so somewhere close would be nice
- A quiet home, with limited views. I can get upset and anxious if I see animals out windows and doors

There is a cost of $1000 to adopt me

****************REHOMED*********
Auckland and Waikato!
Hi, I’m a 2.5yr old neutered male looking for a family to have me. I identify as human, so like to be included in everything.
I absolutely adore all humans, big and small. I love all dogs too, although I can be a little stand offish with the bigger ones when I’m on my lead. Off my lead though and I will play and play.
I’m also used to being around an older cat, so with slow introductions, i could be okay with another.
I love going out on adventures and hikes, but if it’s a couch day, I won’t complain.
I love car trips so much! I like to be able to see and put my head out the window.
Worst case, I can stay home on my own for up to 6hrs, but it’s not my preferred option, I’m too social for that.
When my family have been away, I’ve either stayed with my friends, or been to the kennels.
I’m trained in commands and toileting.
I do have some food allergies which can make me itchy, but fine with either raw food, hypoallergenic vet diet, or lamb kibble.
I’m currently in Auckland so my current registration will be transferred if you are too.
About you:
- Must be at home majority of the day, or able to take me with you
- Own own home, sorry renters
- Understand my breed and the requirements that come with it
- Be in Auckland and neighbouring areas, and prepared to travel to meet me
- Room in your heart for me to steal it
- Lifetime of fun, adventures and a new shadow (that’s me)
The is a cost of $1500 to have me join your family, payable at the end of the trial.
We are looking at a shorter trial time on this adoption, due to family illness.

If you think you can offer me what I’m looking for, please email the following address for an application form

Bijou is a 4yr old brindle girl looking for her next family to smother in her love and affection.
Originally from aussie, bijou moved to NZ for a better life (don’t all aussies?). She has been a spoilt family pet her entire life, but her families circumstances have now changed.
She is used to having a fur sister, so is very happy with other dogs, although she will steal all the attention and snuggles.
She is fully trained and even knows how to use a doggy door. She was crate trained as a puppy, but hasn’t used one since. She can spend an hour or two at home without her humans, although she did have her sister for company.
She likes kids and animals, but will get jealous if they are getting attention over her.
Bijou gets seasonal allergies, which have been managed with cytopoint or apoquel.

She is currently located in Auckland, so if out of the area, you will need to be prepared to travel to collect her.
There is a fee of $1500 for Bojiu.

*****************LILY IS NOW ADOPTED******************
This one’s for you Waikato! (And surrounding areas, but must be prepared to travel for collection)
Meet Lily, our first fluffy frenchie through frenchie angel adoptions. Lilly is a 2.5yr young female fluffy frenchie. ❤️
Lilly is looking for her forever home where she can play, eat, play some more then sleep.
She is well socialized with other dogs and gets on with cats. Lily is fully trained, walks nicely on a lead, not prey driven, knows commands and is toilet trained.
Lily has no known health issues with a recent vet check.
She loves car trips and humans big and small. She is also crate trained.
Too good to be true right? What’s the catch? Well she will steal your heart of course! Lily, like all frenchies, loves the company of humans so would prefer to be with her people, but can do okay on her own for an hour or two.
Lily’s requirements
- loving home owned by the humans (sorry, no renters)
- Humans around majority of the day
- Kids and other animals are fine, but be aware of your local councils policy’s
- Humans that are aware of frenchies and their life requirements
- The Waikato area is preferred, however all North Island applications will be considered, you will just need to travel to the Waikato to meet Lily ( sorry Southerners, it’s just too far for Lily to travel)
There is no fee to adopt Lily, however, if the trial period is successful, a speying contract must be signed and fulfilled at the adoptees expense within 30days.
If you meet the outlined criteria and wish to provide Lily with her forever home, please email

[email protected]

and request an application.

Please keep an eye on this post for application close off and outcomes. We are unable to contact all unsuccessful applicants individually.

About Us

Meet Lola aka Gunslick Angel of Mine and the inspiration of this page and our service.

We believe every Frenchie needs and deserves a loving home and sometimes situations change and Frenchies need to be rehomed. We are not here to judge, we are here to assist you in finding your Frenchie the perfect new home, where they can be loved and cared for forever.

All applicants are required to fill in an Adoption Application Form. We screen each applicant thoroughly including the home environment. We assist with the hand over and we monitor the placement for a month before the adoption is finalised.

This service is free, we do not pay you for your Frenchie and we do not on-sell your Frenchie. We do ask any potential adopting family to pay any travel costs to rehome if out of town and a possible small fee to cover spey/neuter if needed before adoption.
