Today 2 sets of siblings got to go to their forever home in Bellevue Ohio. They came and bought a pygora doe and an angora wether but before they even got off the farm they wanted their siblings. So this wonderful family went home with angoras Bert and Ernie and pygoras Emma and Toby. I so love meeting new goat people and double love when family get to stay together. It was a blessed day here on the farm.

To all you knitters out there…….
I want to knit a sweater for myself so bad and I need to get it off my things to do list. I am an intermediate knitter and reading patterns can sometimes be a challenge. Why???? I have no idea.. lol

Did you know this?????? ❤️

Do you know why eggs are stored with the pointy end down? They are stored this way to keep the yolk more centered inside of the egg which will help your eggs stay fresh longer. There is an air sac at the blunt end of the egg. Air and bacteria can enter the egg through the blunt end into the air sac. By storing eggs pointy side down, the pocket of air stays away from the yolk.

"Am I the only person who hasn't heard of "cooler corn"?
Over the weekend I was blind-sided by the simple genius of this method for cooking loads of corn on the cob perfectly.
A Coleman cooler appears from the garage, is wiped clean, then filled with the shucked ears. Next, two kettles full of boiling water are poured over the corn and the top is closed.
Then nothing. 30 minutes later open it, and the corn was perfectly cooked. My mind was blown. And I'm told that the corn will remain at the perfect level of doneness for a couple of hours.
Turns out, Cooler Corn is pretty well known among the outdoorsy set. But for those of us who avoid tents as much as possible, it's perfect for large barbecues and way less mess than grilling. In fact, I may even buy another cooler just so I'm ready for next summer. Now that I'm in the know."

Today Keeper finally had her babies. Wanted to give her alone time but I think 2 boys. She is always a wonderful mom and all are healthy.
