Lost pup!
Please spread the word! Sadie was LOST on July 14, 2022 in Ooltewah, TN 37363 near Snow Hill Road, Splendid View Drive Ooltewah TN
Message from Owner: This sweet dog was last seen on Splendid View Drive in Hampton Creek subdivision off Snow Hill Road in Ooltewah, TN., but might be trying to go back to her original location on Lake Haven Circle off Highway 58 in Chattanooga. This is not my dog; I have not met her, but after her owner died, she has experienced 10 months of life as a fugitive, being fed by a neighbor. A couple of days ago she was caught in a trap and a couple who wanted to help took her in. They gave her the name Sadie. We really are not sure of her name. She may not hear well. Not used to a collar and leash, she escaped from them in a community 20 minutes by car from where she was used to.
If anyone sees her and is able to lure her into a fenced enclosure, please do! Tasty, aromatic food such as steak or chicken can help. Just DON’T CHASE or yell for her. Let her think you are simply dropping food quietly, and see if she will follow you until you can close a gate to keep her in. Then please call the HUMANE EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY Animal Protection Department (423-624-5302, ext. 232). If you have seen her please list last location that she was seen.
Please help. She’s a senior who’s had enough of a hard life and needs to be part of a family. Keep a watch on your security cameras. She’s probably at least 80 pounds
