A Quad show featuring 4 open and 4 youth plus the Texas State Cavy Royalty competition! Featuring Showmanship/Breed ID/judging and a written exam! Crowns/caps and sashes to be awarded. We are canceling our show November 10th and 11th in Longview Texas. Just the cavy portion of the show, Rabbit show is showing as scheduled. But, Mark your calendars for February 16 and 17th 2024 at the Ike Hamilton expo center in Louisiana for the 🍒 Cherry pie Cavy Extravaganza! 4 shows with 4 Great Judges. Allen Barr, Randy Shumaker , Melissa McGee, and James Goodrich. Great weekend of Cavy shows and super awards. More information to come. Lots of showing opportunities this Fall. Aaaaaannnnnnddddd, that’s a wrap and we are still smiling 🙂 huge thank you to all the folks who drove so far and attended our show and stayed up showing past midnight Friday night and came back again with smiles on Saturday! Thanks to all our amazing judges! We have to give a huge shout out to all our awesome table writers and folks who jumped in and helped keep everything flowing smoothly. Great weekend enjoying our hobby with fellow cavy enthusiasts! Safe travels!!! And again a HUGE thank you to EACH and everyone of you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It’s Almost Here!!! The Southern Comfort Cavy Show Christmas 🎄 in July!!! 🌞. We have been working hard to ensure a Wheeeeeeking good time will be had by all. Our numbers are AMAZING!!!! We have folks from 10 States showing and EVERY single breed being represented ❤️. And these look to be great representations of their breeds! Over 150 Open and 100 youth. Yes 250+ pigs per show. (Except showE) Some important things to remember.
*we will not be supplying tables or chairs. BYO
*be friendly and cozy with your tables and chairs 🙂
*The cavy show will start at 5 pm sharp Friday night
*The cavy costume contest will start at 8:00 a.m Saturday!
*Shiny Hiney contest between shows. Sign up at show
*Best of the Best at end of the day all BIS winners
* The show will begin at 8:30 and will run 2 open tables and 1 youth table to begin. Yes, 3 tables. We will stagger breeds. Yes, there maybe times we stall while breeds finish up on other tables. We have volunteers signed up but if you want to help, catch us at the show! Those pigs are p**pers and the p**p removal in the coops is always so greatly appreciated!

A Big Thanks to everyone who attended the show this weekend in Louisiana! Looks like we had folks representing 7 States! What a great time and we love meeting new folks and seeing old friends as well. Here are some pictures from the weekend. Feel free to add yours as well. I wish I had taken more random shots! Keep posted for some upcoming show dates!!! Keep safe and see everyone soon. Also a big Thank you to the FBRC for hosting this show and the Rita Rushing Best Teddy Display. I would have to check again, but I believe their were close to 50 teddies exhibited in almost all varieties.
