The battle between Millenials and Gen X

I was born in 1974. I was taught respect and responsibility. Now mine was not the typical childhood. It was a bit rough. However, I feel like I would be lost and ignorant if I did not have a dose of reality at an early age.
I am a survivor, a jack of all trades, a realist.

People argue about what’s best for kids now.

In my opinion, it’s pretty obvious that the no Child left behind, the soft “positive” parenting that only allows praise and not consequence has only created 30 year old children still living at home not knowing how to change a tire or do their own laundry.
Most of which are on mental health medications and offended by everything. JS

I could cook when I was nine. I found out about Santa Claus when I was five.
When I was 12 we had s*x ed, we had shop class, home ec, and in high school we had electricity and auto repair. (The reproductive age starts at 9-12 yrs old)
There were first aide babysitting classes, so you could take care of a newborn at age 12. Which I did.
( I don’t even think I trust an 18 year old with a child in today’s society. 😬 )

I am extremely confused and disheartened by the education system in America today.
Third grade = no homework no spelling test, can barely read. Yet somehow passes all exams and state assessments. 🤔😒😕 

Some call it a conspiracy theory, but I seriously think the decades-old phrase “dumbing down of America” is legit.

At what age do you think a child should know there is no Santa Claus, tooth fairy or Easter bunny????

In my opinion, if they’re at “reading level” they should know.

I am a supporter. I never liked him before he ran for President but he was good for our country.
We are living IN the fu***ng swamp now. How does it feel? 😕
I have watched several interviews and speeches of Vivek and I must say, he seems to be aligned w the policies and changes we need. If not Trump, I am definitely liking Ramaswamy as President. Check him out. Listen. Learn.

So my rear window dropped inside the door while I was working today.  Of course I Google it and it’s a huge problem with
Usually the bracket on the regulator is broken. but to investigate. I had to take the door apart. Since my dad Richard Krease isn’t here to help me. I was on my own..
it’s not broken, but probably worn …the window came out of the bracket. The glass was stuck like not moving I had to play with the regulator a little bit, wiggle the glass, scrape out the track …finally 🥵 got the window loose, put it back in the bracket, put the window up and locked the rear window controls. Not sure how long it’s gonna last and I’ll have to find a new bracket. Ugh (apparently, if you go through the dealership, they make you buy the entire regulator, which is not necessary.) 
But the good news is, my dad taught me the most important lesson of all ….

I understand that sometimes people have to rehome their beloved pets.
They will adjust, like divorce, moving to a new house, new siblings.., life brings changes.
BUT it should be a last resort. And NOT a shelter. Make time to find your babies a good home only if absolutely necessary.

Kiddie pool not just for the kids just saying best $200 I ever spent and that includes the pool, the filters the cover, and some bottles of bleach 🤘🏻🥃🥰☀️
 I mean, if you’re not a swimmer like me, I can swim but I don’t. I just want to cool off on a hot day. I want to relax. I wanna get some sun and it’s great for the kiddos as well.
For real you need one!
It’s about knee-high on most adults, but you can fit 3 to 4 floating adult chairs like this. You can sit on your b***y like a hot tub and it’ll be up to your chest on the average person. You can fit a bunch of kids playing in. The only maintenance is once a month vacuum, skim before each use, and 2 cups of regular Clorox bleach per day set the filter timer to eight hours a day and you’re good to go …..crystal clear, clean so much fun and so relaxing.
