Dogs talk with their bodies and it is our responsibility to listen.
By watching your dogs body language we can better understanding how they feel and how they express those feelings. We can then make an effort to help our dogs feel by if they are exhibiting signs of discomfort or stress.

In the 1940s a scientist named Rudolph Schenkel conducted an experiment on captive wolves. He found that wolves use aggression to work out a pecking order. However the study was flawed and it has been proven that dogs and wolves rarely show aggression with in their family groups. Dr. Schenkel himself said that his theory was wrong.

We provide you with the skills and knowledge for you to become your dog’s trainer!
We train using positive reinforcement and we aim to use primary reinforcers (i.e. food). We train dogs using a bridge which is our way to communicate with the animal to let them know they are doing the right thing! Our preferred bridge is a clicker but we also support the use of a verbal bridge (i.e good dog).
We aim to identify the reason behind the ‘problematic’ behaviours that are occurring. All our services start with an initial consultation to get to know you and your dog.
