“Do your dogs get along with cats?”
*PENDING* Hello all you beautiful people, my name is Max. I'm a 3-year-old West German Show line, long coat German Shepherd dog. Just as my name suggests, I am the MAX in everything!!! I am oversized and depending on the season, I weigh anywhere between 110-120 lbs. I love to play, I love to hike, and I love to swim! I'm a house dog and I'm very clean. I'm looking for a new family. I'd be best in a home where there are no small children. I can be loud when I'm excited and did I mention I'm REALLY big? I'm from southern NJ, I love to travel but I prefer not to fly. So, if you like long walks on the beach, swimming in the moonlight and just having fun, let's meet! I could be your guy! I'm free to the right home. Send me a private message with your phone number. NO BREEDING RIGHTS. P.S. I'm working on a new pic so you can see just how handsome I really am.*PENDING*
Ever see a GSD that can fly? Zeus vom Grunwald Haus doing the thing he loves best, FastCAT!
I have adorable, West German show line, GSD long coat puppies that are available to go to new families now. Pleas PM me with inquiries and provide your phone number. I will not respond to you if you don't.
When your 2 year old pup thinks he still a little puppy❤️❤️❤️
When you got it, flaunt it! Knox vom Grunwald Haus at 23 months.
10-week-old Riot vom Grunwald Haus enjoying the cool grass.
Hossa loves puppies and puppies love Hossa!
Summertime is the perfect time to add a puppy to your family. Potty training is so much easier. Puppies spend more time outdoors burning that puppy energy off. Puppies are more socialized because we are more social and it's the perfect time to introduce water sports and activities. I have male and female long coat puppies available to go home now. Serious inquiries PM me along with your phone number for more information. NO BREEDING RIGHTS.
Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful Sunday. This is 14-month-old Creed vom Grunwald Haus.
STILL AVAILABLE!!! Rory needs a retirement home. She is an excellent candidate for a home where she can be an only dog. She is gentle and obedient and has a wonderful friendly temperament. She is not free; I am asking $500.00. Please do not contact me if you haven't talked with your significant other "for permission" or if your loved one has significant allergies or other health issues. I will not ship her; you must come to me to pick her up. I also require a vet reference. She is not for breeding and no registration papers will be provided. If you are a serious person and would like to open your home and heart to this lovely girl, feel free to private message me with your phone number. I will not respond otherwise.
"When you're smiling..." Happy Monday! Romeo wishes you a beautiful day!
This is Romeo. He's built like a linebacker but has a wonderful calm nature. His puppies will certainly be the same. Romeo's pedigree is filled with many German Sieger Show champions from both sides. Puppies expected this summer. NO BREEDING RIGHTS

Lucy vom Grunwald Haus at six months old. I took this photograph 1 year ago. The sun was about to completely go down and I wanted to capture how it lit up the hair on her ears. I hated the photo after I saw it because it was too dark, but I kind of like it now. What do you think?
Steffie vom Grunwald Haus guarding her sweet potato. I feed both cooked sweet potatoes and raw on occasion. Sweet potatoes contain so many wonderful nutrients like vitamin B6 and beta carotene. Beta carotene is converted to Vitamin A, an essential for healthy eyesight, skin, coat, muscles and bones. I just know someone is going to look it up on the internet and say "raw sweet potatoes" shouldn't be given to dogs because they are a choking hazard and are hard to digest. Well to that I say my dogs have been eating them both ways for as long as I've been breeding and have never had a digestion problem with the raw ones. As far as choking hazards go, the German Shepherd Dog's jaw has incredible strength. If my dog Hossa can reduce a 2x4 into splinters, that should say a lot about the chewing ability of a GSD. No, I don't allow her to chew on 2x4's but I have construction workers here that thought it would be fun to toss her a 2x4. I stopped that very quickly. As a side note, Sweet potatoes are not an ideal food for overweight dogs, use them in moderation, they have sugar and carbs and you may see your dog gain more weight if you are not careful. As always, go slow with introducing sweet potatoes to your dogs diet and see how they do and then you can increase the amount. If you already feed your dog sweet potatoes, please comment.
To that one disbeliever who thought that "ball" was just a prop. Here is Ruby devouring that "prop".
Ruby vom Grunwald Haus enjoying her raw beet. Raw beets add many vitamins, minerals and fiber that are important to the overall health of your dog. Adding beets to your dog's diet should be done slowly. Start out with a small raw, peeled beet. Please do this outside because beets will stain. I usually toss a beet like a ball and make it fun for them and my dogs really enjoy this. You can also incorporate a grated or pureed raw beet into your dog raw food. Beets should be given in small portions because along with all those great nutrients they do have a downside, they contain natural sugars and oxalic acid which in high doses can cause urinary issues. I use approximately 4 -5 tablespoons (or a medium size beet) 1-2 times a week for my dogs. This will be enough for your dog to benefit from all the great nutrients beets have to offer while at the same time being safe for your dog. If you are not comfortable with feeding a raw beet you can always boil them with the skin on until a fork can be easily inserted and then the skin can be easily removed. It literally slides right off. You will want to use gloves for this. Please remember with introducing any new food, do so in moderation, see how your dogs does initially and you can slowly increase the amount.
Knox vom Grunwald Haus thinking the weekend is almost over.

Happy as a calm at high tide. Scout would not come inside no matter what I did. I was frozen, she was laughing.
"The incredible edible egg" Start out slow by adding a raw egg daily to your dog's food. It can be alone or you can mix it into the dry food. There is some misinformation out there about eggs containing Salmonella. It is the outside shell that can have harmful bacteria like Salmonella. You should always wash the shells just before you use them. The interior of an egg is almost sterile. On rare occasions eggs can have bacteria inside if the hen that laid them has an ovarian infection herself. What so incredible about eggs? Well to start, the abundance of B vitamins. They also contain all the essential elements including a natural source of Zinc which is essential for healthy skin and coat. Pastured eggs are great if you can get them otherwise check your grocery store for quality eggs. *Please remember to start out slowly with changing your dogs diet. Every dog is an individual and may not tolerate certain raw food* I promise to get to everyone's questions in sperate posts. I am only one woman with multiple tasks going on all at the same time. I welcome all comments and I will answer your questions to the best of my ability and experience.
At least once a day I am asked what my views are on feeding a raw diet to dogs. As you can see by these photos, I feed raw. I have been feeding raw since 1996. Since then, I have learned a lot about it, what works and what doesn’t. I do not have a business in raw pet food, I don’t get any money by promoting raw. I just want to share my knowledge with people who are interested in feeding their pets a very high-quality diet that is better than anything on the market. If you’d like to learn more about it, give me a thumbs up for this post and I will continue to give simple, common sense, money saving advice to you all each week.
