We had a great day at the Green River Poultry Show! Our white Silkie pullet won CH FL! Took RB with a white hen, BV and RV with two black pullets. No one showed against us in partridge but our favorite partridge cockerel took BV. We knew he was extra special :)

I've got my eye on this little guy! To think I never wanted to raise blacks...this all started with a little blue chick (turned out to be a cockerel) Shari gave me at Crossroads...his genes combined with the blues I had (apparently some were black) produced my first three black pullets which started this whole love affair!!!

These black grow outs make my heart skip a beat :)

NAG Farms was not able to represent the open class at the Dickson, TN show this past Saturday but Lindsey Roe proudly represented us in the Jr Division with this white cockerel she raised from a chick :). She won Show Champion in the 2nd of two shows with this little guy and Reserve Show Champion with a black hen in the 1st of two shows. Way to go Lindsey!!! We may have to change our name to NAGL Farms ;)

That moment she shows you who she really is...she is happy, she's comfortable, and hopefully loving life...these moments...

We had a great time at the Bluegrass Poultry Association spring show yesterday! We only took white Silkies but very proud of our white hen for placing first in the class of hens. She keeps improving at every show. Her first show she placed 3rd, second show 2nd/RV and this show what do ya know she beat her 'best hen friend' who always places 1st! Congrats to our great friend Shari of Harvest Breeze Farm for RB with her black hen and 2nd in class of white hens!
