It’s Thanksgiving Thursday so Charlie would like to say “Thank you” to Judy R. for sending us these items from our Amazon Wish list.

The fly mask is for Jazzy, not me! And yes, I know it’s backwards but, heck, sometimes my underwear goes on backwards too! The cedarcide is for the paddocks, the liniment is for all our seniors (especially Pharaoh right now).

There are still much-needed items on both the Walmart and Amazon lists. Send a horse a gift today!

Good news! Violet stands so well now for her bandage changes. It takes longer to set it all up than it does actually changing it. Here she is keeping her hind hoof cocked so we can finish up putting tape on it. No fuss, no muss. Never thought I’d say that about her!

BTW, I highly recommend Gorilla original black duct tape for making bandages! I think we can see the finish line after a year and a half of rehab on Big V. You go girl!❤️‍🩹

Violet says “Thank you, Christina F., for sending us this bottle of copper sulfate from our Amazon wish list.” We use it to make a solution with vinegar to help treat thrush in their hooves. Sometimes Therazure or Zomp doesn’t have anything to stick to so a liquid is a better application. We appreciate your gift!

We use the Witch Hazel on Jazzy’s belly, the Therazure on anyone who needs hoof clay and the fly strips go in the barn! All incredibly useful products. We are grateful!🙏

It’s Shire Saturday and Mason decided to dine al fresco. It’s not his usual bowl. This one measures 14” in diameter, so you get a nice idea of the size of his muzzle.

The horseless horse show is so much fun every year! Thank you inviting us back!

Thursday, 8/7 its gonna be a great night at the fair. Our annual Canine King and Queen, a horseless horse show, and an exhibitor party.

The Canine king and queen will be benefiting BARKS this year. We will have a donation box in the office all week. Please consider donating dog and cat food, blankets, towels, or gift cards.

Step 6: Passing of the torch, er, flag to the rider. He didn’t flinch! We are so proud of him! Now, we just need to find ourselves a flag pole and new flag. We have flag guard already. Anyone have one to donate?
