AND, they are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met!! Together, we are 22% of the way to our goal!!

Pharaoh has survived many serious issues and here he is today my first line driving with the ‘ole pro. He is an absolute dreamboat.

Pharaoh is doing great. The vet said his weight is now just fine and no neurological symptoms observed. The reason he has trouble with going down hill is his right hind stifle. X-rays show only slight age related wear and tear. Yesterday, he reminded us he has much to contribute to a conversation as the wise herd leader. Pharaoh, I feel blessed to be your caregiver and student.🐴❤️

Special thanks to volunteer Pat for bringing over his bike for some motorcycle awareness training. Both Charlie and Pharaoh were a tad skeptical but after some time working with them on a graduated basis, they both became relaxed with Pat riding around them. We are expecting several officers on motorcycles doing traffic duty during a funeral procession. The Shires seemed completely unconcerned with a motorcycle engine right next to them throughout the session. Great job, everyone. It went far better than I anticipated !
