GECKO UPDATE!!

The first two hatchlings are absolutely thriving, eating so well and growing so fast, we have a bold stripe and a beautiful bell albino bold stripe. We've had another little one join the hatchling rack today a stunning little radar , I'm gonna find parting with any of these so difficult they're all so beautiful 😍 I can't wait to see the others hatch 😁

Evening feeding.
Sailfins love chasing there food around, while they have a very versatile diet this guy is a sucker for crickets above all others. Its great to sit an watch how and why he does the things he is doing. Now he is becoming more confident around me its giving me a good chance to learn more about him and build a good bond.

When this guy came to us he was untouchable and would run at the sight of you anywhere near him. He has been here about 2 months and things have been slow but today we hit a decent milestone. Very happy with it 😊

This girl unfortunately didn't give us eggs this year. We had some solid folical growth on multiple females and for some reason all of them didn't lay despite huge swelling. I'm not sure what went on possibly the heat wave that made it difficult for the animals to maintain a correct heat as we had to take emergency measures when we went into our building and it was 95F in there. However although a crappy year for us with reticulated pythons hopefully the next will be better. Every mistake is a way to learn and we feel we addressed the issue for next year we are no breeding experts however we try to the best we can. Either way although we are salty its another year we didn't manage to breed this girl we are looking upwards for next season and we still have our other species to work on this season in the meantime 🐍
