Thank you so much to all the dedicated activist that came out for the Ocean on Sunday morning. Both locations spent time contributing to not only the health of our ocean and rivers, but to the community. We look forward to do it again very soon.

Environmental racism: what is it?

This term describes how Black folks and indigenous communities are disproportionately affected by climate policies and practices all over the world.

As allies in the anti-racist fight, we have a duty to educate ourselves about the ways in which this system causes so much inequality and suffering.
That is why this week, most of our focus will be put towards environmental racism: a form of systemic racism that is so often overlooked.

Our beach clean up tomorrow, previously scheduled for Belmar, has been moved to Asbury Park.
Asbury Park requires a daily badge to enter the beach. They are $7 and must be purchased the night before. If you don’t wish to purchase a badge you can also walk along the street front and the boardwalk to clean.
