The American Kennel Club believes more pets go missing around July 4-5 than any other time of year. Experts say pet owners can help keep their animals safe this Independence Day by preparing early — days, preferably, before the first "bombs go bursting in air." Please take the time to make sure your pets are prepared! And since the 4th is on a Thursday, it’s safe to assume you’ll hear fireworks through the weekend as well. (Especially here in the south!)
