Cuddling with the Canuck and all the pigs this morning, we are all so concerned for our friends in California… we know all too well what they’re going through and it’s bringing up a little bit of PTSD for sure thank goodness sitting with the pigs help.. sending much love and aloha to California Sanctuary Farms, and everybody who needs help!!🙏🔥🐷 please reach out to the people you know in California. It was so helpful to us during the fires here on Maui last year.

🌟✨🐷❤️ As the dawn of 2024 unfolds, I find myself reflecting on an extraordinary journey as the director of our cherished pig sanctuary. This year has been a symphony of challenges and triumphs, as I say goodbye to my beloved home and the nurturing land I’ve tended for 30 years. The adventure of relocating myself, along with 17 majestic horses, 26 joyful pigs, and 5 kitties has been nothing short of an epic tale.
Yet, nestled within these trials lies a shimmering tapestry of magic that has transformed our path. The creation of our new sanctuary farm is a breathtaking vision come to life, a sanctuary where laughter and love flourish. The outpouring of support from our incredible community at both the sanctuary and the horse farm has been a radiant beacon of hope. 🌈✨

Our brand new horse facility in the tropical forest complete with our own private waterfall is a dream woven into reality, and I am endlessly grateful for the wonderful volunteers, donors and sponsors, the veterinarians,the Reiki Masters and Shamans, The food stores, and food banks,for their support,kindness and steadfast patience have allowed me to craft a sanctuary where dreams can soar. Watching the pigs thrive in the forest brings me daily tears of joy and excitement🙏‼️

As we embrace the promise of 2025, I am filled with wonder and anticipation for the magic that awaits us. Together, we will continue to weave this enchanting story, and I know it will surpass all our wildest dreams! Thank you all for being part of this beautiful journey! 💖🐖🐴

The first rainbow of winter I just love our new Sanctuary what a great way to wake up Piggies and I sat here and watched this beautiful rainbow had some coffee…. 🙏

🐷 The Mohawk of the year goes to Redford‼️ this little piggy came into the sanctuary this summer with the worst case of scaly skin and mange. I’ve ever seen my massaged coconut oil into his skin every night and brushed off the scabs and this is what happened best coat ever.

🎄🐷Cupid was horrified…”Oh my God, did someone say photo shoot !! do not take my picture until hair and makeup arrive”… He wakes up slowly in the morning, prefers grooming, cuddles, and a snack before anyone pulls out a camera. He’s always been like this! Cupid will be five years old on Valentine’s Day 2025 he and his brother Valentine are the first two pigs in the Maui pig sanctuary before we were a sanctuary…

🐷❤️Christopher Hogwood loves his peaceful mornings and cuddle sessions.
I’m gearing up for another action packed busy day headed off to the Food Bank to pick up their generous donation couple pallets of yummy baked goods. We have the Fence building team coming in to work on our feeding zone(the cafeteria!!) and perimeter fence … gonna try to jump on the Internet for a minute… if you see this post, it means I was successful.❤️🐷

Wilbur and puppy pigs arrival number three and four back in the fall of 2020… they are the best boys so well mannered and cuddly they adore belly rubs they will sit for their meals. There are totally bonded pair and have been since their arrival at one point they were integrated with the main herd of pigs, but they really prefer to be by themselves. I do hope that someday they will all be able to share the space. They currently have their own little neighborhood. # pigsofinsta
