Welcome to my page!
One of my favorite quotes is, “Saving one horse won’t change the world, but it will change the world for that one horse.”
My goal for setting up this page is to bring awareness to some of the sad, harsh realities of some horses. I’d like to share with you how I got into rescuing, with the hope of helping others see there are so many in need that are rarely talked about. I have learned a lot about nutrition for refeeding starved animals, the important first steps right after pulling a horse from a kill pen or severe neglect, how to trim my own horses due to not being able to always find farriers or vets that understand and how to actually break through the scared, abused or untouched ones.
I am for sure not an expert....just sharing what I have learned along the way and what works for my horses to give them the best life I can. Please don’t get into handling abused or untouched horses without working with a trainer or TONS of experience, as horses can be very dangerous when frightened.
Please feel free to ask any questions you might have!
