How do you store edible flowers?
If you don't plan on using them right away, the best way to store them is in the refrigerator with a moist paper towel in an airtight container. This should keep the flowers from wilting for a week or two depending on the variety of bloom.

Bozu also known as globe amaranth can be eaten raw or cooked. While the whole flowerhead is edible, it doesn't have a pleasant texture and is better used as a garnish or dried and made into a tea. 🍵

Happy Thursday! Found a lonely white dianthus in my bed if pinks today. If you've never tasted dianthus before, it has a pleasant clove-like flavor. These nickel sized flowers make for a great garnish on your dishes.

The entire dianthus flower is edible and can be used whole, or the petals can be separated and spread throughout the dish. Sprinkle over salads, float over soups and curries, place into fruit bpwls or use as a garnish for sushi and sashimi.

Blue borage flowers are star-shaped, vibrant blooms that add beauty to the plate, along with a mild cucumber flavor that some describe as a sweet honey taste. It's also mildly salty. The texture of these gorgeous edible flowers is delicate with very small hairs.

The leaves can range from 2"-5" in diameter and have a sweet and peppery/spicy taste. They are best suited for raw preparations. Nasturtium leaves will keep up to five days in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
