Seaaca survivor Weilani/Nana/Josie checking in ❤️
We've gotten nothing but wonderful updates from her awesome foster mom Jill!! Josie has been the perfect houseguest sleeping through the night, going outside to go potty and just melting everyone's hearts. She loves her toys and has been very playful. I love how resilient she is and the shelter experience didnt change her. She's getting baby step slow introductions to guarentee a smooth transition into the pack. She will be getting spayed on Monday and needs a little help on donations. Our goal is $250. Could 50 followers donate $5? This weeks adoptions went to paying off the last part of Rosie's ear infection and im grateful one down. Even if you can't do $5 even $1 helps.
Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.

Our sweet 1 yr old Dixie from Riverside is still looking for her forever family. She is super dog friendly, and has a submissive and cheerful play style. What they came from, how I got them, what I witnessed i'll never forget!
They get to continue growing up together, going hiking with their awesome mom and new sister Fifi. They've put on so much muscle since the winter! I can't believe how tiny they were! They definitely remembered me.

Ok village I need your help!
Meet Elsa and Burt.....
Abby's Foster messaged me and said she found a little stray dog in her side yard, so I come out to scan for a chip. Meanwhile, she posted him on the Nextdoor app and a lady responded saying "hey I found an identical looking dog in my yard and I saw this dog in the park a few days ago and I am north of you."
Both dogs are chipped to the same woman!!!
I called the woman and she says oh they're eight months old and I don't want them back.
I rehomed them to someone on my bowling league who moved to Vegas. Wow 8 months old, not fixed but chipped, passed through 2 homes already then abandoned most likely at that park. The dogs seperate terriefied of fireworks. One goes north one goes south and some how some way theyre reunited today.
I need an emergency foster for these babies!!

Look how adorable Ace is! It brings so much joy to my heart that you can see the smile on his face and how peaceful he is. He was the last dog I rescued in my quest for Chompers three weeks ago. He was an outdoor dog with chain burn and now he is with a loving family being spoiled in comfort.❤️

Awww look at Ray! Ssooo comfy and adorable! He is still having issues walking past other pups and we were able to cover 3 training sessions for him but he still needs more assistance and his foster needs more training support. We are asking for any amount of a donation even if we have to do session by session to help Ray and his foster Sabrina. All of our funds have been used on vet appts for the last 2 months of weekly medical needs so any donations this week i'd like to use for Mr Ray Ray. ❤️🙏🏻

Yesterday morning, sweet Nana/Wailani/Josie was sleeping on the kennel floor at seaaca on her third extension and this morning she's waking up under the covers surrounded by love finally feeling safe.
I haven't pulled from the shelter in over three months and have just been focusing on adoptions and networking our available dogs, but I'm grateful to have been able to make this miracle happen for this little angel!❤️

Thank you so much Keli for opening your heart and home to him. I'll never forget his Carson networking video where he was hiding under the elevated dog bed shaking in fear. Keli reached out to us wanting to foster him to save his life. He has come so far with building his confidence so he can feel comfortable in the world.

Thank god Reggie's mom Maya and I are not brainwashed people who think the vet is always right and there's never any other way possible and that the "alternative" way doesnt work.
If we were that way Reggie would be dead. Instead he gained his weight back and is kicking cancers butt!
He's going to restaurants, playing with his sister, being social with family and friends and loving life!
Two months ago Reggie went into surgery to have a tumor removed and when my vet opened him up, he said I'm so sorry the cancer has spread to the spleen, intestines and lymphnode theres nothing we can do so we should euthanize him right now. Mind you, Reggie was eating, drinking, playing, walking, and showed zero sign of being terminally ill. I told the vet we're not going to kill him....We're going to save him so sew him up!
My vet already knows me, has seen what I can do so there was no debate or ego or pushing his medical opinion.
So grateful to his mom for trusting me, being open minded and not thinking the western way is GOD and everything the vet says is the only way. He's still in disbelief though that Reggie didnt die 3 days later as he predicted but he respects me.
We got you Reggie ❤️🩹

Our poor Abbey from Seaaca is at the vet this morning!
Her fosters neighbor behind her yard started demolishing/construction last week. This is the fence where Abbey loves to chase squirrels. Within days of construction her skin reacted and eyes swelled up.
The vet gave injections, sent meds and said keep her inside.
We're asking for help with donations in the amount of $383. If anyone can donate in any amount, it all aides to help and we greatly appreciate it!
All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated to help our pups.❤️

Healing Hounds Happy Tails Dash❤️
One of our amazing fosters contacted us about a puppy named Dash who needed a home right away because he could no longer stay in the apartment he was in and the owner couldnt afford having him and he was at risk of heading to the shelter. We took Dash in and found him a great home with a couple who loves traveling all over the US in their motor home! Dash has already seen more in 6 months than I have my whole life😂
So happy he gets to experience the love he deserves along with the amount of streams and forrests he gets to play in!!

Our sweet rescue Alonzo has learned to coexist with calm kitties so his next foster or adopter can have a cat but slow introductions are a must to help them coexist. ❤️
Alonzo is still in need of his next place to crash! He's pretty low maintenance and just likes cuddling and playing with his toys. He enjoys hikes and learning to slowly socialize with other dogs and strangers. He's making huge progress with his amazing foster Amanda! He was even able to come to work with her at the vet hospital. You can tell he wants so badly to please his hooman and has a gentle soul.
Even if its only a foster offer for the summer to help keep him out of boarding he'd be so grateful. 🙏🏻

What a difference a year makes! I remember getting the call from someone about an injured pitbull hiding under a bush in a trailer park in the desert. Its AVS jurisdiction and I knew she wouldnt make it out alive and she was a stray with no pledges no networking and no one else was coming for her. I remember her eye was swollen shut. She was in really rough shape and had black charred skin and injuries all over her body. She was so sweet and hid behind my back while I drove her to the vet. Her blood soaked my shirt and I just kept telling her you're ok now you will never have to worry again I got you baby girl.
Fast forward a year later she's at her bae day rescue party, she's adopted by an amazing man with the biggest heart for her. She lives on the beach, has pawpals to play with and is daddys little princess.

Hi friends!
Alonzo is in need of an emergency foster starting July 4th. His current foster describes his cuteness below..
Over the past two months I've grown so fond of who I now call Sir Alonzo Tippy Tappy "The Gator"
He is very affectionate and loves to give love but sometimes gently corn cobbing with his mouth (hence "the gator") which is why we are currently training - boundaries and heavily rewarding calm behavior. It's only been two days of training and I've seen significant improvements because he is very smart.
He is comfortable in my kennel at home, and in the kennel when I go to work.
Getting to be on the couch and snuggling with you is a HUGE reward to him when he's behaving. Highly food motivated also helps his training move along 🩷
His ideal new foster will have some time (10-15 minutes a day) to work with him outside of his potty walks (or during them) and set boundaries in the house.
He really loves tug of war and destroying his plush or rubber toys while supervised.
He is dog and people selective at this time. Proper introductions needed.
She has taken him to the dog park which was hit or miss but too fast for getting him used to socialization.
He did amazing on hikes with her, her employees at the vet office he loved and he even made it on a live for when one of their pups was there and Jojo Wolf Paws said he was so friendly. I personally fostered him for six months and never had any issues. He was always well-behaved. We practiced a lot of routine and structure. He met all my friends and neighbors and was affectionate and friendly toward everyone. I think like most dogs, they read body language so if someone is nervous towards them, they will automatically be nervous too. He does great on leash, running errands, coming to work but life Amanda said his favorite thing is laying in your lap.
A temp or long term offer is needed to keep poor Alonzo out of boarding. 🙏🏻

Our sweet little Maggie is also looking for a new foster home or forever home. Her ideal home would include a hyper and playful male little dog. She could also be the only dog, but would enjoy the playtime with a little boy dog with too mich energy. Maggie is 3 1/2 years old spayed, up-to-date on her shots and one of the most prettiest pies I have seen with her golden coat. She's doing great staying in an apartment. She does great on walks and cafes rides! If you would also like to be Maggie's stand in temporary vacation Foster, that is also an option. Her current Foster has several travel plans on schedule so even a temporary a week here a week there foster home would be great for Maggie to.🙏🏻

He is such a good boy! He's between 3 to 4 years old. He's great with every person so far he's very social! He's good with big dogs little dogs and he really just wants to sit by you. He is already neutered and up-to-date on his shots. Thanks to his wonderful rescuer Maryann! DM if you are interested in adopting this little guy❤️

Hip hip horray!!!!! King and Pharoh are out of boarding!! A huge thank you to Samantha & Maryann and the winderful staff and volunteers at Shandarin and crew for taking such good care of the boys! Taking them for treats, car rides, baths!! They are such good boys!
Thank you Fox for opening your heart and home to these amazing boys to help them decompress and get used to being a part of a loving home once again.
I'm stoked to report Astro, Hercules, and Oscar have been placed into their forever homes, making it possible for King & Pharoh to get leave Shandarin today.
They did great on the car ride and are already running around in the yard remembering that feeling. Seeing these dogs smiling and running in the sunset is the seratonin to keep you going!
They will be ready for their forever homes soon but need to learn more about them during decompression.
Thank you to everyone who donated to help cover their boarding bill, could not have done it without you guys!! I'm humbled by the generosity of the community to always help our pups.🙏🏻

A few days of good meals, lots of love, a nice bath and he understands he is safe. He loooooves getting pets and his little tail wags so excitedly when you tell him he's a good boy! We named him Ace. Thank you so much for temp fostering him and helping him smile again. Truly grateful to our fosters who are rallying around our dogs and helping them and us! The number of returns, vet bills, lack of donations... i'm seeing all of my colleagues making the same announcements as me and the dogs are losing this battle. We need help and they need help! Now is not the time to return pups when adoptions and donations are down. Dogs like Ace who were treated bad and abandoned( he flinches when you go to pet him) couldnt get a chance to feel safe without fosters like this! Thank you to the Bogardus Family for all that you do for the pups!❤️🙏🏻

Tustin survivor Samuel... the same dog who was reported to bite, chase and scratch people and little dogs. He's actually timid towards the fosters littles, loves fetch, looking at himself in the mirror and laying with his teddy. Beyond grateful to his foster for not being phased by horrible shelter notes. She saw something special in him and because of that he's happy and alive.❤️
