A little late in the day, but as promised, here is the grand opening date ✨️ It falls under the same day as the Hunter Full Moon which makes it even more ✨️magical✨️ I'll be posting a lot more on social next week since right now I'm in the boring phases of cleaning the space and planning layout which isn't that interesting lol. Can't wait to share the progress with you all 🖤

If you asked me 5 years ago, "Where do you see yourself in five years?" I probably  would say that I graduated mortuary science school and work as a full-time embalmer and funeral director. I never imagined that I would make most of my income with my art and have the opportunity be able to open a shop. For the past 3 years I've been trying to navigate  and pick up the pieces of my life after leaving a very abusive relationship which has left me with  PTSD and TBI after an attempt to take my life. This caused a huge interruption to all my plans that I had for my future. After adapting my life to these diagnoses , I've grown accustomed to them and the changes that I had to accommodate  myself with to keep myself safe and to protect my mental health moving onward. After getting out from that situation and event,  Andrew and Chris welcomed me back with open arms and gave me a place to work and be able to sell my art while I figured my s**t out. With receiving DV support services and mental health services for an extended time period, I've gotten to a point that I can move on to a new chapter in my life and I'm so excited to bring you guys with me in this new journey. 
1107 Manitou Ave #11 is a huge part of this new chapter I'm starting. Slightly tucked away in downtown Manitou Springs is where my little shop will be. I just got the keys today and I'm so grateful to be able to have this space and to have a platform to carry other artists and small businesses - most of whom I've grown very close and meaningful relationships with. Im glad to hold a space for those who in a world full of no's finally have a place that says yes.
I have so many projects that I can't wait to share with you and the community. I definitely take pride of being one of the very few black owned business in Manitou, in addition of being a q***r woman and I hope that I can be able to have a safe space for not just those communities, but all minorities.

School ends in less than a month and I'll be on summer break which means I'll be working on the shop all summer and working towards getting my LLC to further grow the shop 💛 also to my lovely Etsy users, I sincerely apologize that there is nothing on there anymore, that will change once summer break starts when I'll have tons of time to expand. Look how cute he’s sitting on some smokey amethyst 👉🏽👈🏽 this poor little leopard gecko had some really bad gastrointestinal problems which probably lead to his early demise. I’ll post him on Etsy in a couple of days once he’s fully processing ☺️
