I love Animals. Their compassion and unwavering, unconditional love have been healing touch-points all my life.
I began communicating with animals as a small child in a big family. While I can connect with most animals, I have the greatest affinity and understanding with Cats, Dogs, and Horses. I have been a "Step-Mom” to the two best dogs: Copper and Pez.
My husband is a Dog-whisperer and I have received excellent training in Canines and pack psychology.
I have also worked with abused horses, helping nurture them back to a peaceful existence. Horses are gifts to the world. I would like to work with them more often.
I specialize in working with cats. Felines have been my healers and teachers since childhood. I was responsible for a cat box at age 4. I speak fluent Cat. Many changes came into my life when I was 4, so did Fluffy, Snowball, Midnight, and Fluffy II.
I love cats. I love the way they move so fluidly. Nothing feels better than a cat’s tail brushing up against your leg to remind you to relax and breathe. Stroking your Cat as it purrs is just as soothing for you as it is for the Cat.
Once I read in a book that described how animals around us are teaching us all the time. For example, cats are showing us how to heal ourselves. They spend their days napping. They play and exercise by hunting for their food. When they wake up, the first thing they do is stretch. They keep themselves clean and love self-grooming. They aren’t needy in their relationships. They are loyal and loving, but not clingy.
In my 30’s, when my life was doing a big scary reset and I was too ill to cope, I took the advice of my cats. I let go of everything that didn’t work for me.
Smoky, Sniff and I moved into a small apartment near the beach. I started my days with a 4 mile walk and stretching session. I ate when I was hungry and napped after lunch. I gave a few massages in the afternoons, ate dinner, and walked down to the beach in the evenings. I ended my days with hot soaks, candles and soft music. Then my cats joined me in a deep meditative stretch before bed. I slept until I was done sleeping, or until Smoky wanted breakfast.
During this time, while they were teaching me a lot about healing myself and other humans, Sniff fell victim to a blood-borne illness from a tick. While she stayed at the vet for 2 weeks, I visited her twice a day. Dr. Faulkner did everything possible to save Sniff, even giving her a blood transfusion from his own Cat. When Sniff died, I was heartbroken. She was only 13. I wish I knew then what I know now about how to communicate with cats and work with them energetically.
Smoky lived 20 years, before saying goodbye—after working with an animal intuitive.
I trained with other Healers and Intuitive's to modify my therapies—BodyTalk and Craniosacral—to work with animals, both in my presence and at a distance. I would love to share these practices with you and your beloved animal companions to keep them at their pinnacle of health, help them get along with other animals, and ease the transition when it’s really time to go.
I absolutely love working with animals. Meeting one in person or online lights up my heart. I can’t wait to meet your pet and get to know them.
