Kate & Pearl: A Tale of Unconditional Love

In our cozy farm, a heartwarming story unfolded. Pearl, our gentle miniature donkey, welcomed Kate, her adorable foal, into the world. The birth was a joyful miracle.

As Kate took her first wobbly steps, Pearl lovingly guided her. Their bond flourished with snuggles, playful nuzzles and tender brays. We watched, enchanted, as Kate's curiosity blossomed.

Kate's antics brought laughter: stealing hay from Pearl's manger, chasing butterflies and frolicking in sunbeams. Pearl patiently taught her manners, ensuring Kate became a sweet, sociable companion.

Together, they explored lush pastures, sharing secrets beneath ancient oak trees. Their friendship deepened with each passing day.

Now, reluctantly, we're letting them go. Kate (4.5 months) and Pearl seek a forever home, promising laughter, snuggles and devotion.

PRICE DROP
Hi yall I got 2 horses for sale that I would prefer they went together but if not then sold around the same time. I have a 10 yr old 14.3H paint horse with one blue eye and one brown eye he’s been used for english and western lessons and trails and is beginner friendly, he has the sweetest personality and it takes him a bit to warm up to new people but when he does he will love you, he has a really nice slow trot real easy to sit so great for those learning. I haven’t cantered him around my area but i’m sure it’s great too. Before we got him they said they took him out on the road and jumped him a lil but i haven’t had time to explore that. He’s real sweet and takes care of my sister and won’t be the type of horse that won’t leave ur side when the person on wants to go away.

My second horse is a papered palomino mini 20 yrs old but looks more like a grey, sadly we lost the papers for her. She’s real sweet has a great personality and loves being around people. When family comes over she’s the one we can trust to have the kids run around screaming and she won’t do anything crazy. You can mess with her all u want and she won’t bat an eye at you. She’s very brave and when she trusts you she will do anything for you she’s helped me train other horses when they’re too scared to do something because she really isn’t afraid of anything. She is retired right now and although she’s old she keeps her weight pretty good. Every once in a while a tiny kid will sit on her and she just stands there but I would prefer she went somewhere where she can stay retired and just be loved on by family.

I would love for both horses to go to an amazing home and they’re both priced at a reasonable price the mini very low.

As I sit here, surrounded by the rolling hills of our small hobby farm, my heart aches thinking about rehoming our beloved mini donkey, Fiona. She's more than just an animal; she's a cherished member of our family.

Fiona's journey began with tragedy. Her mother passed away during childbirth, leaving her orphaned and alone. We took her in, bottle-feeding and nurturing her around the clock. As she grew, Fiona brought immense joy to our lives with her playful antics and affectionate nature.

But life has taken an unexpected turn. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we're facing the devastating reality of selling our farm. The thought of separating from Fiona is unbearable. She's been our constant companion, comforting us through life's ups and downs.

I’m heartbroken to share that Little Katie passed away at the Vet Hospital this morning. She had been at the hospital with diarrhoea for the last 10 days but as her appetite had improved I was due to pick her up today to keep up the treatment at home. I am totally devastated but I know we did absolutely everything to help her fight against the odds. Thanks to Guy, Grace, Jess, Carolyn & Jo for your help with bottle feeding for her short little life and the team at the Equine Hospital for all you did to help her.
