We observed a Mountain Bluebird (Sialia currucoides) last night out running dogs. It was a decent night for pups!

FTW’s BackWaters Gunslinging Gypsy has a date! 👀👀

Should be some big mouthed hunters.

Gypsy was an early starter, has a killer locate, independent, and will move to find one if need be. Good head on her shoulders as well.

This is the first cross made with Josey Wales on a Gunslinger daughter. Hopefully it’s a jam-up cross!

Ole Belle or AKA “Orbie” as her one eye shining in the darkness. She’s vet aged to be 10 or 11. Don’t know many that can still pull out a den and a c**n within 40 minutes at that age. Gotta love this female. Love to have pups out of her just one more time. Always been level headed, easy handle. She went 500 w/ den and 350 w/ a double

I am always striving for hard tree dogs with accuracy that will not just blow out of the country… while also sharing with looks and grit.

Well, 2 weeks ago, we are now happy to announce World Qualifier Oil Slick and Will’s Wild Belle’s puppies are on the ground. Should be 9 heathy future C**n tree’rs! We’ve been waiting to make this cross for a long time, lots of old blood in this litter. Sackett, Big Timber on top and Bone Collector/Yadkin on bottom! We are going to keep all of these guys back, and give them the best chance at making C**n dogs!

Well I’d like to give this female Mugshot Maggie some credit, she’s a nice little gyp that will hunt the woods out and go out if no c**ns are around handy. She’s a part of Courson Kennels/JBS Team. And she comes straight out of Salt Fork Kennels. I’m sure honored to handle this nice female.

Well for two years old and not too much hunting on him Bonehead is on a streak, made 4th highest scoring dog in the Oklahoma State hunt this weekend. He has one more win and then he will become the big Nitech! Just a stepping stone I see forward to his big future. He also took a BOB in the Walker male division on bench. Bonehead is 1 and 1 away from being bench champion and night champion. Congratulations Jeff Nance and Jayden Thomas!

Will and Salley won Best of Breed Female Walker divison last night in Fort Morgan, CO… (RQE) Salley is sure a pretty little gyp coming along nicely… Will Is part of our JBS team also… proud of this young man!

Slick won the RQE Hunt in Fort Morgan, Colorado last night… He also won Best of Breed Walker male and Best Of Show male overall. Congratulations Jeff! Slick and Jeff are part of JBS kennels… Now Slick and Jeff will be off to the zone hunt in September this year, Missouri here we come!
